WOYWW #520 {stamp sorting}

Happy desk peeking day, if you'd like to see more spaces or play along
the link up for this blog hop starts here at our hostess
There is also a new Instagram hashtag of #WOYWW

Happy Anniversary Julia, 10 years is really something :) A few days ago, I tripped going into the closet over what was left of those stamps on the floor. so, I went back to sorting things out again. the determination is to get all those stamps off the floor and sorted out soon.

These are Tuesday after work shots of what I came home to and after that, I ended up pulling about 4 boxes worth of stamps off their blocks and kept going, so... there are still stamps on the floor. but, there was room on the sheets for one or two more stamps so, I went digging in the mounted stamps boxes to look for similar things to stick on these sheets and fill them up kind of a thing.
We will have a 3 day weekend next weekend here in the states for Memorial day so, I am hopeful that I will get a big chunk done and sorted. we shall see. One of the what I thought were peonies that as I added more paint to them and they started to look like carnations to me was finished for last week's inspiration and can be seen here.
oh, and I finally got around to making a post with how the mothers day cards turned out and they can be seen here in the post below this one. Thanks for stopping by

Your desk looks VERY busy! We have a bank holiday coming up as well in the UK - don't you just love 3-day weekends! All weekends should last 3 days as far as I'm concerned LOL! Happy anniversary! zsuzsa #26

I was AMAZED at your work area, Stacy. I couldn't believe how many items you have like sprays, and of course, the stamps. You have MORE stamps on your desk than I own. I am truly in AWE. Have a great Memorial Day weekend, too. Happy 10th from # 4.

Owning craft stuff seems to involve spending a lot of time sorting and organising it - with very little effort it so easily spills over on to the floor! A long weekend seems to be just what you need to get the job done - happy sorting!
Happy 10th anniversary,

Carnations, peonies..whatever, they make a beautiful card in your hands Stacy! Oh gosh, how much work that odd box of stamps has caused, I do admire your determination though! I know it’s busy but it still looks like an organised desk, love the little trug filled with bits and bobs and the handled sponges....so well kept. Mine are just chucked in a box. Must. Try. Harder.

Hi Stacy, sorry I am late visiting. Happy 10th WOYWW anniversary. I'm tempted to ask how many stamps do you own - but as you've been crafting so many years I'm guessing that would be hundreds ... thousands? No, who would have room for thousands! I love 3 day weekends - we should have at least one every month! Thanks for stopping by earlier. I haven't yet thought about the highlights on folds in clothes - hair is proving hard enough at the moment, but one that I need to get right. Have a lovely week, Heather x #30

Hi Stacy, You look like you have a lot of sorting to do, so good luck.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. You put your number as 37, but you are #35. You aren't the only one who's number has changed.

Happy 10th Anniversary WOYWW

How great to get all those wonderful stamps organised, Stacey! You look really busy with so many to sort. Thank you for your lovely comment and for your good wishes over my disability benefit application. I subscribe to a charity called "Benefits and Work" which publishes excellent guides for members, and I've downloaded those, and some other free ones online as well, and I am hoping to get some help either from the Citizens' Advice Bureau of another organisation that a blind friend of mine recommended - she's going to give me details of that. It's such a minefield to negotiate and they are determined to trip you up and deny you if at all possible. This horrible process is already taking its toll on my health with the stress. I'm trying not to worry but it's really hard. I'm gradually getting the paperwork together now.

So glad you like my hubby's watch, and yes, we had a brilliant time at the County Show - it's always a huge treat every year.

Happy 10th anniversary WOYWW,
Shoshi #15

Hi Stacy - Sorry to be so late commenting, blogger wasn't playing for me!! Happy 10th anniversary! Hope you didn't do yourself any damage when you tripped!! You seem to be making a grand job of sorting your stamps - but it is certainly taking a while - you must have HUNDREDS!!
Take care. God bless.

Happy Anniversary, Stacy! Lovely cards on both blog posts. I just planted the Clematis last year. I have 3 - all planted in composted straw and they are going fabulously! That little duckling seems to be the most prolific. When I first signed up, I was #35 so that's how I've signed all of my comments until about 3 blog visits prior to this. LOL Got bumped somewhere along the way. Creative Blessings! Kelly #33
