Inspired by {The Little Green Bean}

 This week Denise is sharing the little green bean site and Pinterest boards where I found this prim star ornament and thought OK you can always use more Christmas cards along with this really cute Prim snowman. I've bought stuffed sewn snowmen like that at craft shows so it caught my eye. Ultimately I ended up with something that uses elements from the ornament but, doesn't really look that much like it. 

instead of using sheet music for the center of the star I grabbed a Simon says stamp Shimmering starfall 3-D folder and used it on some Neenah classic cream.  So I cut this Impression Obsession star die from that panel and inked the edges with some DOX scorched timber. 

Instead of stitching around the edges I used a die with stitch details and just wrapped some red hemp string around it loosely and used the foam pop dots to keep the thread from moving. I found this stripe paper on an old Patriotic pad from Authentique called Liberty and cut it with an Studio Light nesting Frames die. I love that its not perfect on the edges you know? so this also got Scorched timber on the outside. That star printed paper came from an Mintay White Christmas pad, because at this point I was still thinking this was going to be a Christmas card. 

When I opened the drawer where I keep previously stamped and die cut sentiments I found this little envelope of letter press ones from Spellbinders. This was from the cheers to you set, I actually wrote that on the envelope yay for me. but, your guess is as good as mine on the color of the ink. It kinda looks gold-ish in real life so it may be a brown shade? ( not sure) The base here is some texture bazzill and this one is 6" square in real life. the pop dots are pretty slim so, I think that even with the depth this is not a get snagged the the postal machines card. A Textured Noel

 I had a little free time yesterday afternoon while I was waiting for the paints to dry for tomorrow's sample and I also have a small wooden tray on the table that has partially started things in it, The thought process was maybe I'd finish them some time. So I started poking around and I came across this drop piece with the embossed berries and branches that had been colored and stamped on in the past. ( The original project is can be seen here) I did like how it turned out, I was surprised how long this has been "saved" to be used. It always surprises me how quickly the time is going by now.  At any rate, I did add a little more watercolor to a few leaves and more white gouache on the spots on the berries as well.

 I recently picked up a couple of "shaped edge" card dies made by Find it Trading from a little shop at the top of the state that sells on Etsy (here) and I wanted to see how it would look. This one is a deckle type edge and it does cut all the edge and score the center so the top where you fold it does not have a deckle edge. So I pulled out some DOX Vintage photo ink and did the edges of the card ( both sides) and all the edges of that previously textured card with it. And a while back I had seen someone say they diecut their word dies in multiples when they got them so they could glue them together. And that made sense to me so, I had one of those times in the way back cut this Penny Black Immense Noel die from thin Micheal's Artist loft watercolor paper and glued a couple together, so here I decided to add some green paints to it.

I did use some Simon Says Stamp foam strips to raise it up above the card panel for depth and then there was room to add the very lumpy Mullbery Poinsettia. I did daub some DOX on the stamen of it as well as it was pretty bright in this more vintage feeling card to me so, It didn't take too much time to do this and then when I photographed it I thought I need to daub some red paint onto the textured panel at the end of where the center of the E ends as it just blends so well with those leaves behind it color wise its hard to read the letter to me. This also follows along with the Dirty Dozen June Prompt for Christmas cards and so, Yay me I got a two-fer month done ha ha. Inspired by {Ethan Allen}

 This week Kia is sharing the Ethan Allen site for inspiration. And I seen this Hem stitched table runner and I kept coming back to it. What I thought was interesting was the shade of blue. Some how I tend to lean away from Blue things in card making. I have no real reason why and the hem stitched linens I own are all white so, I thought why not.

 So I cut the layer with the Spellbinders hem stitched rectangle die from some thin blue cardstock and it ends up being slightly under A2 in real life. The other colors that caught my eye in those photos were the brown table, the white dishes and that there was a pine sprig on the plates so, I seen it as "Christmas" and blue for Christmas is also something I don't do much of so, I had this previously embossed piece of printed wood grain paper and thought OK. so I used the next size down rectangle in the Hemstitched die set to make it fit inside the stitching layer. I was messing around with the idea of adding sprigs to this some how because of the sprigs on the plates but, ultimately discarded them.

The ribbon here is from the Stamp Simply Site. The Photo corners here are from the Frantic Stamper Chevron Dies. The sentiment die is from Penny Black and I did cut three layers of it so that it would pop better on that brown background. The matelasse embossing folder here is from Anna Griffin. I did use a white gel pen on some of the clusters of dots in the embossed panel and then over the top of the white with a stardream sparkle pen over the top of that and in a few little spots of the sentiment diecut as well. 

I keep thinking maybe I should work the springs in for one more white space maybe some how dangling under or tied on to that knot of ribbon but, so far this is how it looks when I stopped.  I do not know who makes this blue cardstock but, the cream here is from Simon Says Stamp. I don't remember who makes that wood grain print but, its double sided and it has a black and cream sheet music print on the flip side of it. November Dirty Dozen Christmas

 Hi, Welcome back. It's that time of the month again when the Dirty Dozen shares a prompt for Fan Club members and Dirty Girls (& guys) who want to get some of their Christmas crafting done ahead of the holidays. This month's prompt can be found here inside those special forums. I started with this (really old) Neenah Collum's Red Pepper cardstock and cut it to become an Slimline (4" x 9") card with a gate fold opening. So the scores are at 2" on the long sides. I found this stripe printed paper from the paper studios Vintage Christmas pad (Hobby Lobby) and I ran that through the big shot inside a Leane Creatief Stars Background folder. Where the paper broke I rubbed some DOX vintage photo ink over that, trimmed it to 4" wide and cut that down to two 2" wide strips to be the center background.

I then found a sheet of some dotted print from the Photoplay Kringle & Co. pad that I liked the rustic ness of and cut it with the Sizzix Primitive Star die and instead of using its matching embossing folder I used the Sizzix softly falling dotted folder on it. I backed this with a kraft non embossed star cut with the same die as I knew it would be visible from the back side when the card was opened. and this gave it some more stability to build layers on. The Merry Christmas one of Dina's designs from Impression Obsession was stamped with the Crimson Versafine and diecut with an really old Spellbinders deckled oval die. The star has some older Christmas ribbon ( either Micheal's or Joann's from years ago) plaid wrapped around it's middle. The star printed paper die cut was done with the Simon Says Stamp Bundle of Stitches heart die and the metal star on that is from Making Memories. I did ink the edges of the star and the oval with DOX ink also and I like the rustic vibe this has paired with the bright white. ( I tend to lean more towards the creams when I go rustic so, this was fun to see it worked)

So, this morning I went upstairs to pick up the mess so I would have a blank table to do the IC sample for tonight after work. ( I know what I want to do) but, I picked up this drop piece of Kraft that had the star cut out for the backing on the card above and I had that Hobby Lobby pad on the table so I started laying it on the papers in the pad looking to see and found this pinecone sprig paper that did not look bad with Kraft so, as I put away the folders I used above I pulled out this pine sprig one also made by Leane Createif and inked the edges of that with a DOX vintage photo pad.

 I had it in my head to make this card A6 with some of the white print peeking around the outside edges of the kraft but, I got it crooked when I cut the star so it did not line up perfectly so, the white parts peeking out were whacked off, the edges were scruffed up the hemp string tore the kraft before I even tied the knot, it just acts like dental floss and will do that. The tiny pine cone charm was found on Amazon recently (here) its more golden in color and smaller than the old Tim Holtz ones. I really like the scale of it. The sentiment is also from that LOTV hexie tags set done in pinecone ink on Kraft, the bitty brad came from Micheals a long time ago and this was also inked. the dots in the embossed part were colored over with a white gel pen and I am leaning towards looking at this after work in the daylight and thinking about going over that with some snowtex or bleed proof white. we'll see. for reals this time. Inspired by a Clock

 It's that time of the year when you start to think about time again. Maybe a little more than usual I think New Years as it approaches seems to bring out all the watching the clock in all of us. And this week Amy is sharing a Pinterest board filled with clocks of all kinds. And I chose this one seen here.  I seen that as pink lace at first glance. I think part of why it struck me was I had received this Sizzix Tim Holtz Doily embossing folder for Christmas this year from my friend at work and it was laying on the table waiting for an idea to strike.

I decided to try it with some not cotton watercolor paper ( Strathmore 400 series) and then I basically cleaned the palette that had some various Daniel Smith browns and coral on it with this, and a lot of water. I did end up running this panel through the big shot probably 3 time between getting it wet and letting it dry. I did not tape it down. And when it was totally dry ( this panel is A6 in real life) I spent a bunch of time trying to figure out what sentiment would fit in that little corner I had.

I wanted to use something I had not played with before or recently and most of those were too big to fit, but this one is from the Stamping Bella Posh has a present set and it fits. The painted panel is up on foam tape over the Stampin Up petal pink base that was finished out at A7 in real life. I did go along and add some pink and cream liquid pearls just a few here and there for a bit of shine, And I realized I got this way more pink than the clock but, I think the lace pattern of the doily edge mimic's that pattern to the clock. A catch-up Post

 There will be a Shepherd's Market fund raiser sale at the former Hosanna Christian School next Friday and Saturday. and knowing that I have the booth in the center of the Gym I have been making a few tags and tiny cards the last couple of weeks. 

This batch was jump started when Dagmar was the featured stamper in Oct. I came across these of hers with those trees and remembered I had picked up this PTI set this year.  

 

 So, I made 6 of them and while I had the stamps out I did the trees below and could not figure out a good way to work them in cut like that as rectangles So, they sat around waiting for an idea.

 And then the Fallidays challenges went live and Lori had one to do 4 matching Christmas tags...

 

These were done just because, I have been also getting out the previously made and saved things from other years of the booth sale at the school and realized I do not have much as a from Santa type tag at the moment and I have not played with this Club Scrap one before. I did add some of the glittery stickers June gave me for my birthday to these.

And then Lisa threw down her Falliday's challenge to use up scraps. So, these 6 little 3X3 cards were done.

And one thing led to another and this 7 and the 7 below were done in the mornings before work earlier in the week. The puffy cup and layered Santa faces are stickers June gave me this year for my birthday.

 

I make a lot of square cards and when that happens if they are 5 1/2" square you end up with a 3" wide strip so, I cut those at 6" score in half and fill up a little container of them all year waiting for this time of year to use them up. Same thing with tiny images I stamp them on scraps and color them at odd moments. the little bird in this group is one of those doodle watercolor ones from a few months ago.

I will try to keep up with the photos but, there are more of them then there is daylight to create so, the thing is since I seem to move slower than I did 10 /12 years ago. I just shoot the shots and don't steal the time to blog them. There will be more catch up posts soon. but, I also know a Coffee lovers blog hop opened today and I'd like to play along with that somewhere soon too. So, this is a Tuesday afterwork before dark shot. some happy mail had arrived (again) off to the left you'll see some PSX Quilt stamps had arrived over the weekend from eBay auctions..on Monday the Art Impressions people arrived and Tuesday the dick blick painting supplies arrived. So, I cleared off a spot in the middle without picking up the mess I made Monday after work doing the card below. ( the folder and such is under that round palette cover. ( it does not fit tightly on it but, I think it will keep the dust out of the paint when you walk away. ( its ceramic and has some paint brush grooves kinda like an ashtray)

A closer look at that. oh I did pick up one cheap paint brush from Amazon to try too. ( I have seen a bunch of videos where the gal doing them loves that line) personally what I have found is since I am just a beginner I have better luck with the black velvet silver brushes so far, so I did pick up a few more sizes of those in round.

just because, they make me happy scale wise I am not so sure the idea I had when I seen them all will work. so also off to the left are bits and pieces of ones I stamped and colored and am pushing around thinking still. ( the sentiment is too large to layer over these quilts and have the quilt peeking out around it.) so, next thing I will try will probably be to heat emboss the sentiment on vellum to lay over a quilt and see.

On Monday the technique lovers challenge watched a video that the gist of it is to add 3 colors to some watercolor paper. dry that off, run it through an embossing folder and then swipe the top of it with a black versafine pad. ( the lady used a very detailed lace folder and it was stunning) I didn't have anything really lacy but, then I found these knots and thought ah ha... dug out this silly little Riley and Co. sentiment ( which happens to be true) and added some finger nail art bling sticker to the corner of that. The point of the challenge was to let the embossing folder take center stage in the design. 

So, its snowing here. yeah, I know its still winter but, still. hopefully it will be a quick in and out day at work. We are doing good here and hope you all are too. Thanks for stopping by.

 So, as it happens a while back I had been adding ink to some previously embossed sheets I found in the file cabinet and that one in the top left-ish corner on the glass mat was the one I had one left of. and I knew it was an Anna Griffin one and I didn't find the folder in the basket of mine so, that meant it belonged to my MIL. ( she is a big fan and has bought most of her sets off the TV) at any rate I knew it was older and decided to go poking about on ebay to see if any were for sale. ( holy cow, people are asking 50-60 dollars for that folder) ( you could have knocked me over with a feather) So, I texted her and said hey, can I borrow this folder? ( and 4 others followed me home on Sunday) (we are in hubs parents bubble & the lonely is getting weary for them) and during the free time I have been rolling some and inking some. So, I tend to spread them out when I am doing this so I don't make a million of the same thing ( with colors on printed papers)  that folder is big enough to paper piece it. This was where I stopped at yesterday evening as I hauled some of those folders down to the sink to rinse the inks off of them. what it looks like on Wed AM. ( I have had zero time to finish these, the dog card just needs an envelope and the stuff put away, the snowman card needs more nuvo clear glaze on his right eye. ( it countersunk into the space where I embedded the black cardstock when dry) not all the way but, its not as tall as the left eye so, I was going to add some more to it.
 

This is before the eye has been added to. the snowman is a really old red original sizzix die and the background is a Tim Holtz engraved folder that has some espresso and speckled egg DOX inks on the watercolor paper. This was done jump started by the January Dirty Dozen Christmas card prompt found here.

now this was done jump started by this cool card in Deb Felts gallery as she is featured stamper this week, I loved the framing on hers. but, you have to make changes and I loved the background paper I picked so, I made a corner instead of a frame. There is speckled egg DOX on the edges of the papers that were distressed on this. I though it was a fun change from browns. (which I like brown but, this was fun, and it is harder to see ) Anyways, I did turn one of those backgrounds I showed you last week into a card and its in this catch up post along with some other things made this month that just never got blogged. I was able to get the first does of a Shingles Vaccination last week and that was a really uncomfortable one for me for about 24 hours and so, it was such a relief after the 36 hours had passed and I started to feel more normal again. my husband warned me it really bothered him and I rolled my eyes so, he is enjoying his told ya so moment. A catch up post

 

The try a new technique challenge this week is  called floating elements as you raise up the diecut shape with the pieces on clear acetate sheet. so, when I was shooting mine I caught all the catch lights on the clear sheet and on the glaze I put on the heart on the flower pot here. That is a die from Penny Black called Plant our love. 

The Clean and Simple challenge this week was to stock your stash with what ever you wanted more of so, I started flipping through pads of printed papers looking for something with a scale small enough to use to paper piece this cardigan stamp from Unity Stamps that made me smile.  That center panel is raised up on foam pop dots here.

This was done for my mom's birthday earlier in the month, I loved the texture of this Crepe paper when I seen it and the Cup is from the Sizzix scoreboards 3-D set and I just cut one cup from it, not all the pieces. The love you is an Ali Edwards technique Tuesday die, the monogram is a stitched letter from MFT.

I had been spending some time earlier in the week adding inks and creams and pots of shimmer to backgrounds run through the Tim Holtz Engraved folder and so, When I seen that Anna's Mix challenge was to color something twice ( two layers of mediums) I decided that I could turn these backgrounds into simple cards easily enough. This one the panel was misted with water and run through the folder that had been inked with DOX walnut stain and then I added some inka gold & metallic rub ons over that with more distress Oxide inks. this one the sentiment is from Riley & Co. and the front of the card base has some score lines for framing on it.

This version the panel was embossed with kraft cardstock and inked with DOX Barn Door & Vintage photo inks, along with some Distress white paint, Metallic Rub ons & Inkagold. The Love is a an Mega sentiment from Altenew cut from some DCWV shimmer pink paper and the sentiment is from a pre printed sheet from Simon Says Stamp. the base of this one is some MFT vintage cream? confetti cream? (something, its speckled) and it finished out at A6 in real life. the crochet lace I think may be Making Memories.

 So, I was messing around on Tuesday after work adding some color to some kraft colored cardstock that had been run through with an TH engraved embossing folder. and these are ok, I will use them. but, after this was shot I tried using some lightly misted with water first, and adding the DOX to the folder it self and running it through and the color is counter sunk into the flip side of this design and that is pretty cool too. I will probably end up making a few more of these before I clean off the table. ( but, not today. today is an ice run) So, just a quick peek and a wave, take care of your selves & thanks for stopping by.

Inspired by { Canadian Living}

 This week Kia has chosen Canadian Living as our Inspiration destination and I came across this decorated Christmas scene and loved the colors... So, keeping the trees against the blue in the back of my mind I started playing with this enchanted forest  3-d embossing folder from Crafter's Companion.

 

I was not entirely sure what I wanted to do and I first thought to do a blue night sky and you know make it an outdoors scene, maybe add some snow and critters so I grabbed a pile of size 8 shipping tags and I did center it thinking I was going to add the white and the sparkle as a sentiment in the clearing in between the trees but, then I decided it needed something more bold white and used this Simon Says Stamp Joyful die with PTI vellum cardstock and some smooth white Bazzill.

 ( the smooth bazzill letters have some clear wink of stella on it) 

The trees were inked with Distress Oxide pine needles & rustic wilderness inks and the sky colors are blueprint sketch & stormy sky, this was misted with water a bit too.

and the whole tag was sprayed with some tattered angels glimmer mist spray, on this photo you may see a hint of that. This is actually pretty sparkly in real life but, it was being camera shy. The smaller sentiment is a sticker from the Tim Holtz Christmas noel pack. I did then run a second piece of the experimental Accent Opaque 120# card stock through the folder again and using it as a mat behind the tag, I liked the subtle out of the box extension of the look. but, what I have noticed since I finished this is that it will need glue dots under the colored tag as its not you know lined up perfectly with the layer below it so there are gaps of air pockets where the layers of card stocks meet. I am pretty tickled with this and wish you could touch it in person too. ( even hubs is impressed )

This is not a standard any size card it finished out at 4" x 7" and will fit into an A7 envelope. probably a slimline #10 envelope too. This is the accent opaque #120 for the base, and it is very heavy its hard to get it to lay flat compared to a 110# cover sheet. I do like the smoothness of the paper. I have not tried to color on it, but I picked it up because, A) its fairly affordable compared to Neenah that I love.  I remember thinking if anything I could use it to die cut but, I think I will be buying a pack of the 80# for layers inside of colored card bases because, it is so much cheaper than the Neenah and it is smooth to the touch. October's Christmas Cards so far

 These are all out of order and kind of stuck together just have fingers crossed they will load, you can click on photos to enlarge and hit your browsers back button to continue reading. ( I think )

A while back there was a watercolor wednesday challenge to watercolor over the top of a piece that had been run through a textured embossing folder. ( so this was done for that) This was colored with some Kurtake gansai watercolors and then I added some crystal stickles glitter glue to the berries sections for some additional shine. The tree is a sticker from Hobby Lobby.

This weekend's Inspiration challenge headed to the Riverbend store site and I came across this Star garland and thought, oh, you have that Impression Obsession Holiday shell border that could work for this.. This was colored with pencils and has some Nuvo crystal drops and stickles glitter glue over some shells too. The sentiment here is from the SU itty bitty Christmas set.

This is a slimline (4" x 9") gatefold opening card using the Woodware from Creative Expressions Christmas peaceful night.  (Bethlehem stamp.) I did add some very pale shade of pencils to this with some white gel pen and glitter pen on the swirls and star. I decided to use use the blue as an outline to give the idea of a night sky without coloring the whole thing.

This was the first version I had stamped and colored this one on some Neenah millstone. ( its more of a sand color) and also has the Star dream navy shimmer as a mat. I did use the Pink fresh studios slim  stitched rectangle dies to cut the image and the mats. ( one card has the plain dies, one has the stitched edge dies)

Now this was done just messing around as I had made the card seen below first for the Mixed Media challenge last week ( which was to paint your own tree or branches free hand and I had painted the cat and swiped the tree boughs with markers...) Yeah, that happens. The cats & sentiments on both cards are from the Tim Holtz Stamptember 2020 set co branded with Simon Says Stamp. this one is A2 in real life.

A few weeks ago the Inspiration challenge headed to the fat quarter shop and I found this fabric online that inspired the colors here. The Penny Black poinsettia was stamped twice on some soft sky cardstock and colored with pencils. I did cut one up and use it to be a underlayer of petals in a more slightly red tint of this. The sentiment here is from Tim Holtz.

This version the eyes are also colored over with a white gel pen and there is also clear nuvo crystal drops on the light bulbs.

 

This one was done jump started by the Dirty Dozen's October prompt this month just to see if I could. and its kind a different look for me ( I think ) I never would have came up with this without that challenge that is for certainly sure. The tree is an older Sizzix die with some black stickles glitter glue on it. I did cut the shank off the star button and the sentiment is a printed sheet 

from Simon Says Stamp. 

The school is supposed to make a final decision if the Shepherds Market will be able to hold before this Thanksgiving on November 1st. my best guess is that it will have to be postponed until the Virus is more under control and so, I really have not been making that much this year because, that is what I have thought all year long. but, I do have things left over from previous years and I will be ok if by some chance it does hold. It seems very strange to not be in craft like a crazy woman zone right now at this time of year, and to make up for it I have been in shop like all the stores are closing tomorrow zone instead lol. Yeah, the haul is pretty embarrassing so, I am trying to play with some of it.  That's about it from me, Thanks for stopping by.

Inspired by {Pippin Poppycock}

 This week the Inspiration challenge is headed to the Pippin Poppycock site where they have some really beautiful shots organized with colors of yarn fibers, and I kept coming back to this one because of the color combo as I have a little stack of backgrounds made during DTGD to play with on hand. 

The background started as a piece of cream cardstock that was run through a Cuttlebug seashell collage folder and inked with some distress Oxide inks ( antique linen, salty ocean, pine needles & vintage photo) and spritzed with some water for oxidized spots. the numbers were all rubbed with some copper metallic rubons and the edges of the seashell have some pearl rub on . The seahorse was cut from some canva paper from strathmore and inked with some distress oxide speckled egg, antique linen, mermaid lagoon & vintage photo inks but, when it was spritzed with water, it just blended and faded the inks rather then giving it the oxidized look flat cardstock produces. so, for texture I added some nuvo drops in a couple of colors and kept adding ink to the paper trying to get it to have some color to it, then rubbed the extra ink off the tops of the drops. The Impression Obsession sea fan die was cut with some Neenah speckled cardstock and I did wrap some teal eyelash fiber around the whole thing a couple of times.

Dare to get Dirty {the Pandemic Addition}

 

 

This first card was done for Lydia's first Dare to get dirty challenge. The holly pieces are a tim holtz Sizzix die, the background behind them was done with oxide inks and the sentiment is from the Simon Says Stamp fa la la set.

This was done for Dina's challenge the bingo jean and b four sentiment are from Art Impressions the happy birthday is from Stampin Up.

This was done for Lori's challenge. the mug is a picket fence studio die, the background is a Simon Says Stamp Pretty Peonies background and the one in the front is from their Stamptember beautiful flowers 2 set. the sentiment is from Impression Obsession.

This was water colored some time ago the Simon Says Stamp pinecone background and I used it for Angie's challenge with the Impression Obsession sentiment.

This was done for Kitties challenge. the background was spray painted with Krylon webbing spray. the sentiment die is from Echo Park. this one is a slimline size in real life.

 

This was done for Ann's challenge. The dies are from Memory box & Hero Arts, the sentiment is from Mama Elephant's Holiday Messages set.

 

This was done for Jeanne's first challenge those birds are from the Simon says stamp fingerprint doodles set and the sentiment is from their tiny words birthday set.

This was done for Lori's challenge. the unicorn & sentiment are from Clearly Besotted.

This was done for Julie's challenge using one of the bitty Hero Arts images I colored on the airplane last year at Christmas. this one is really 3"x3" in real life.

This was done as a combination of Polly's challenge and this week's inspiration challenge that Kia hosted. ( and they did not go live on the same days so, I did not post it until both were live) the Embossing folder is from Memory Box.

This was done for Kelly's challenge using a trinity stamps gal and a Hero Arts sentiment.

This was done for Carla's challenge, the sentiment is from Club Scrap and the background is one that I believe that embossing folder is one of my mil's Anna Griffin ones. ( its not in my basket at any rate so, I am not sure where I got it from) (besides the file cabinet ha ha)

This was done for Judy's challenge and I used the design inspired by this week's featured stampers card seen here for placement jump starts. making a few changes of course, the stencil in the background is from My Favorite Things and the birds are from Art Impressions.

This was done for Sandee's challenge. The dies are all from Memory Box and the sentiment is from Paper Artsy sara naumanns set #39.

This was done for Lyn's challenge. I had originally thought to do shapes that would look like cat food but, I really didn't have any stamps that looked like that so, I decided to go for a modified cereal look instead. Riley & Co. sentiment.

This was done for Marg's challenge, the top layer on his hat is dyed cork paper. so, it has fun textures in real life. (SSS gnome die)

This was done for Vicki's challenge, the sentiment is from Our Daily Bread Designs.

This was done just messing around for my own challenge of which I ended up with a pile of backgrounds and I chose the most unlikely one of the batch to do the sample with. the pine bough is a SU folder and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.

This was done for Nancy's dare to get dirty challenge. Its been a long time since I have stitched anything and so, I evidently need more practice again haha.  The tag die is from Papertrey ink and the snowflake is part of the plush line from Memory box.

So, after one week ( well really a little longer as I had the master list of challenges in advance like all the host's do) I have about half of the challenges done and posted. with a few more bits and pieces that need finished on the table.
