2016 Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop {day 2}

I had a sliver of down time after work yesterday and made a couple of cards ( will trot the second one out tomorrow morning) the goal for me personally this time around my second time playing in this hop is to have a project for each day. We'll see how it goes. This one the cup just arrived in the mail its a Sizzix teacup and saucer die that has been on my wish list at amazon for a long time. ( it dropped in price at the beginning of the week so, I tossed it in the cart with something else I actually needed) I cut some older Bo Bunny paper that had these leaves looking almost ghosted in the print and then I happened to notice the leaves to the Ellen Hutson mondo poinsettia were really the right scale for this so, I heat embossed both sizes on the bottom of the cup and saucer with some white Hero Arts powder. ( that was the first time I had tried that color and it threw me for a loop because to my eye this white only looks white in the jar, it looks sliver-ish on this particular paper) So, I will have to try it some more later. the glittery ribbon at the bottom is a recent Joann's Fabrics find and the sheer gold ribbon is really old and I do not remember the mfg info anymore. the Sentiment on this is from the Verve Stamps set one cup I cut that out with a Hero Arts long and cute tags die and tied it off with some scrappers floss.
