So, in the People free time I had Sunday afternoon ( guys went fishing) I cut  up that layered ornament die and did this really simple ( card below) every single thing on it shimmers and shines except the sheet music and the sentiment tag. So, it is all blinged out and the ornament will untie from the tag die behind it. So, I liked that idea and cut up some more and off and on since then a few more pieces have been cut and I am just messing around with things that had been diecut previously so, its not anything that "needs" to be done. I did do some others and I did shoot photos of them, but the photos are still in the camera and I intended for them to be part of this post because, I usually have more photos than words haha.

We still have a few days left with this visit so, chances are I will be making the rounds in slow times at work this week. :) That ornament die is from birch press and its called Radiant Ornaments ( a,b, & c) The sentiment is from an really old Stampin up set called and many more. Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, Stacy, that ornament is so pretty! I like the music score patterned paper too. I am loving the nested die set on you table too. I am hoping to use more of my dies again. I go in phases but your lovely card suggests I do so pronto!! Have a blessed day!

Now I know why I don't make cards. That lovely die you used is out of this world and all the cards on your desk are incredibly beautiful. It was so good to see these beauties, too. Happy WOYWW from # 5.

Happy Belated WOYWW. Gorgeous card. Nice to get some crafty time whilst the others are fishing (something I have thought about trying, but then I remember that I get bored and stiff sitting about!). Ali x #19

Hi Stacy, I saw your question, "I really do not know how using a mask would be any different than using a stencil though, was it the material the stencil was made from? " and thought I would explain. The mask and stencils I used were all plastic. The problem was, the stencils have very little opening and leave large white spaces around and on the fabric.

The idea behind sun dyeing is the fabric that is exposed dries first, then the fabric under the mask or stencil dries last because all the color is wicked out of the area under the stencil. That is why there were so many white rectangles instead of true images like the fleur de lis. I hope that made sense. #5.

What a super card Stacy, I can imagine once you get going you could replicate many of these. Just what we all need at Christmas.
