Happy Desk Peeking day!
If you'd like to play along the link up starts here at Miss Julia's Blog.
but, when ever I make something messy ( I make a stack of them for later to save some time) these flags are from Unity Stamps ( Ragged old flag) and Our Daily Bread designs old flag background, and stars and stripes heart they were all done on the misti with watercolor crayons and an aqua brush and a water mister bottle. ( so I did the colors one at a time on each one of them trying for less running of the colors)
We had to take J back to the airport last week and he has successfully moved bases and such and so, it was a whirlwind pit stop for him to be home (as usual) so, the spare room ( that is getting the windowseat and bookshelves) is completely empty and the kitchen I have maybe two more boxes of dishes to pack and the coffee pot and microwave to take out of there and that room is empty also ready for gutting.
we were going to cook in the garage and on the barbecue a lot in our heads but having all the stuff stacked in the garage is already irritating on day one so, the new thought is to put the camper on Tim's truck so we have a mini kitchen to function in while the mess happens. Thanks for stopping by :) your comments really do make me smile.

I love what you've done with the flag! So clever, especially the heart shaped one. The sort of raggedy appearance is great, it works really well. The receiver of the RAK is going to be very happy :-D

That card is gorgeous. Love the way you have kept the colours separate. I'll have to try that technique on my Misti. Thanks for sharing, hope the work on the house goes well. Sarah #19

Wow, Stacy, you are amazing! Your patriotic cards are so beautiful, and I love the sentiment! Perfect with the coloring too! Wow, you sure have a lot going on, but it's wonderful that your son visited with you...so much love and hugging going on for sure!! Hugs! xoxo
Wonderful patriotic cards, Stacy! Sounds like you have some fun plans for cooking out. Thanks for stopping by earlier!
Well your CASE card is just the biz, really like the raggedy bit and the watery effect. Clever idea to do it one at a time..great lesson to me in your patience. If it were me, it would be a muddy puddle I was showing for WOYWW!! Good luck with the gutting and the renos...keep your eye on the prize, it will help with all the irritants!
Your flag card looks great and very sensible to make extras while you're making one you may as well do several then you have them at the ready. Thanks for the visit to mine and happy crafty woyww, Angela x14x
Great card! Love the way it looks.
Happy WOYWW

Beautiful stamping. Great end results. Elaine no.7
I love the finished card - so neat to get ideas from other cards that end up to be totally different from the original! Thanks for sharing, Lindart #32
