On the first day of winter my big shot gave to me a blizzard bwahahaha... Nope, we still only have snow that is in piles from when plows pushed it there a week ago... the rest melted a week ago.
Anyways the link up for playing in this desk peeking hop starts here at Miss Julia's blog.
Now this ( on the paper trimmer) is a drum roll moment, I have had this IO die for years. every year I get it out and "try" to cut one... I have finally found the key.
This thin shimmery coated dcwv card. wax paper, a shim in the center ( and 30 passes through my big shot) and I got it out of the die... and I ended up with these 4 pieces... and its been so many years since I see someone somewhere use this die that made me want it...that I am not really sure what to do with it now, ( so it has been set aside) and in all honesty this die may be joining the I don't want to play with this again pile. I feel triumphant that I got it to work ( finally) but, its not worth the effort. my style tends to lean a little more to the chunky snow flakes.
I didn't really know how many dies I have, I don't count, ( I didn't this time either) but, I did pull them out and pile them up and just play. So, I have a nice little stash of snow going on for winter cards now. These are Tuesday night shots so, this morning the table is clear. I still have one more thing to wrap and I am good to go with packages being hand delivered this week. I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and thank you for the time you take to leave comments on my blog I totally enjoy reading them.

Oooh, I love that big pile of snowflakes - your very own crafting blizzard! Well done for persevering and finding out how to successfully die cut that big snowflake. I'd have given up by now, lol!
Happy Christmas to you and yours, I hope you have a wonderful time :-D

Love the snowflakes but that die sounds like too much effort to me. Do let us see what you do with the snowflakes even if it's after Christmas. Have fun and Merry Christmas, Angela xXx 14
Lovely pile of snowflakes! I sometimes find those detailed dies a little bit of a pain. Sigh. I can't find either of my die picks so won't be making any for a while.
Happy holidays

Great pile of snowflakes... much the best kind in my opinion, paper snow! Have a fabulous Christmas Helen #1
Happy Belated WOYWW and Merry Christmas. I must admit that when I first bought some dies many years ago, I would cut loads of designs out. Most of them are still sitting in a folder! I am just not productive enough to use them. Ali x #10
