Happy Desk Peeking day :) if you don't know what this is about you can find all the details to play along where this Whats on your Wednesday Workdesk blog hop starts here at Miss Julia's blog.
So, we have been remodeling our house and the dusty parts are done and on hold for a couple of months before the next round starts.
when that happens the room next to the kitchen that I have a sofa table in where I sat to color is going to become a "media/library" room. and I am pushing for a window seat to curl into to read in there so, this means all the coloring toys needed cleared out so, that is what I did on Saturday/sun/part of monday.
I still have piles of things I had stamped previously to color downstairs that are all just piled up on the file cabinets but, those are headed into the drawers sooner or later.
(probably sooner, I don't really like to dust, so the dust catchers were removed off the sides of things for these shots to be taken lol)
I am kind of working on coloring standing up. I may just have to move more things around up here so I have a place to sit and color but, I also have not colored with mostly pencils in a long time so, I had also let my self forget how long it takes to lay down layers of pigment. and I do not have a spot for my copic markers either they are in their travel bag across the room on the floor by the coffee table.

I'd keep pushing for that window seat Stacy. It's long been a dream of mine to have one but it's still only on the wishlist and may never become a reality. I think you may have won the prize for the longest word this week - brilliant :) Have a good week. Elizabeth x #30
Totally agree you need a window seat! I would love one, I really would. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #5 XXX
I think it's the LAW to have a window seat. Some great colouring moments could be had, and you wouldn't moan so much when the media room was in use for sports? cant think of a better excuse myself!! I hope you use the folders too, from my own experience I know that if I have to get up from my chair, well.....! Your desk is actually a vision of prepared loveliness - it will be nice for a couple of months before the next stage starts, am quite excited for you.
Hi Stacy, it will be worth it when it's complete. I must say I love working where there is plenty of light and a window seat would be great as long as you are not distracted by what's going on outside Lol! Thanks for the visit to mine and have a great woyww, Angela x 18
Hi Stacy. SO much going on in all your spaces. A whole house re-model???! We did that once - I was just glad I was younger when it happened. It would be harder now... Enjoy the space you are currently able to work in, and push for your window seat.
Take care. God bless.

A window seat would be wonderful! I'm glad there's a break in the remodel. Give you a breather before it all starts again lol.

Window seat! What a great idea. Sounds like you have a lot going on and that's wonderful. Have a great week. Dorlene #39
You definitely need a window seat. The advantage to having to move stuff is that it is the perfect opportunity to tidy, catalogue and organise things into groups. I never could find the stamp I was looking for until I moved into my shed. Happy belated WOYWW Sarah #23
Lovely desk space! And a cutter that is not piled high with stuff (like mine is!). I can really appreciate how you would want a place to read by the window. I would love that too, but this house has hardly any windows! I tend to read in the bathtub as the most comfortable place to read! LOL! Thanks for sharing, Lindart #37
A window seat to relax at would be perfect! I learned the hard way that you can't put snow globes in a shed! What a mess that was - I can imagine what it must do to paints!
I think if we all would be truthful with ourselves we'd all think we have so much more stuff thank what we think! That's a sign of a true crafter, I think.
Happy WOYWW

oooh a sunny window seat to read on would be fabulous and I know what you mean about of my how much stuff do you have :D Tracy #15
Oh you HAVE to have a window seat!! I would absolutely love one but if I did, nothing would ever get done! I'd sit and read and knit all day....sigh....bliss!! Good luck with your renovations :-D
