Happy Wednesday, if you'd like to play along with us the link up for this hop starts here at Miss Julia's blog.
So, last week sometime after I picked up the mess from the jingle shaker card I started thinking that A Muse mitten would be cool in felt... and I had these plush dies from Memory box from Christmas ( the snowflake and leaves & berries below) and so, I ended up die cutting a pile of those dies from wool felts. and I stitched this one with some Cross stitch floss... and when I got to the sequin I was like hunh over the one hole thing. ( I have only used sequins on paper with glue or brads lol) so, then I started puttering about and thought maybe a french knot, ( tried that a few times) but, it seems to me in the past I did French knots with silk ribbon so, ever single time the knot when right back through the holes on me... and I figured oh well.
So, these are tuesday afternoon after work, yep I have been stitching standing up at the table. ( its the only place with almost enough light when I am home.)
and in the back you will see some reproduction PSX stamp designs ( Christmas gift) that are being made by Addicted to Rubber Stamps. I have not inked any of them yet, but they are there for me to daydream about for a while first.
ACK! I went to edit this post with a link to Addictedtorubberstamps and they have closed. ( sorry guys) (I had no idea)
off to the right you will see one of the tackle boxes of lace that normally hide in the closet. ( its in a clear fishing tackle box with no dividers inside of it. ( I wind a lot of those things on round clothes pins and they are secured with sequin pins and I toss packaging) you can get a lot of yardage into one box so, my boxes are divided by colors.
Last night before I went to bed, the forecast was 5-15" of snow... ( which we have not had that much in town in years, the last few years hubs has not even put his snowblower on his lawn mower but, he did this year as a "just in case" and he did break two belts this morning before he went to work ) ( I have shoveled some paths to some of my bird feeders but, not all of them yet. And I have given my self a "snow day" ( so, its really peaceful to just look out the window at it all and watch the birds and not be fighting my way to work through it)
Hope you have a really peaceful day too, Thanks for stopping by.

Hi, Stacy! Your mitten is so cute. I don't have the patience for such delicate work with the sequins! I have a rough enough time putting them on paper! LOL
Thanks for sharing the photos of your desk and deck. #44
PSX made such beautiful stamps, I didn't realize someone had started remaking them! Your snow is making me jealous, although apparently we are getting a storm of some sort later on, hopefully with some snow and not just rain! Looks like you will have a very crafty January! Happy New Year! Lindart #37
The mittens are great. It is surreal to think you have so much snow and we are positively melting over here!
Happy WOYWW!

Nice tidy desk and lovely mittens. It made me feel quite cold thinking about all that snow but it's very pretty when you don't have to drive in it. Thanks for the visit to mine, Happy New Year woyww, Angela x 18
Oh man, Addicted to Rubber Stamps used to be THE premier site to buy from, but then they floundered. I thought they were making a comeback but I guess not. The felt mitten is really neat. All that snow.... brr! Good for you for taking a snow day. PJ #33
Love that stitched mitten!! Glad you got a snow day....hope you got to play in the craft room!
Happy New Year, Stacy. Doesn't that snow look just lovely on the railings?! Could do with some decent snow here, get the temperatures down and get rid of some of the bugs flying around! I love your glove - and the fun you had with the sequins...
Take care. God bless.

Lots of crafty fun going on there! I might try using my dies to cut a couple things out now. I love the old vintage stamps and I hadn't realized they had closed either! might try http://ourdailybreaddesigns.com cause they now carry Artistic Outpost stuff too! Snowing here too! Didn't snow at all last year and we got about 3in yesterday...I love winter! Happy New Year! Vickie #12
