Lately, it seems like there is just not enough time in the day. Which is funny when you know how long the days last at this time of the year. We have been spending just about every daylight hour in the yard getting some long wished for things done with basic regular upkeep in anticipation of the upcoming garden tour. So, when I do make time to play with my stamps and color or what ever the cards have become more streamlined at the moment. And this sentiment applies to me. I keep telling my self this one frequently. I am very nervous about the garden tour.
Anyways, I know you are here to see the card :) so, the details are the images were both stamped with versamark and heat embossed with WOW! superfine gold powder ( which I am loving you can tell this is a delicate image and I have no stray powder and its not all clunky around the sentiment either). This was colored with QoR watercolors and a smidge of Daniel Smith watercolors. a little bit of shading was added later with pencils and The centers of the blooms have a bit of yellow stickles in the centers. The bloom is Hello Spring and the sentiment is from the life is better in flip flops set. The ribbon is an older one from Making Memories and the Printed paper is from websters pages. This card finishes out at 6" square. Oh and next week I will be back with a silly one from wanna hang out set that is on sale now and journal it 2 from July.

Oh, how I wish I could come to your garden tour!
This card is lovely. I have learned a lot about water coloring from you.
So sweet. Stacy!

Oh, Stacy, I need this sentiment! LOL! I understand about the days being longer and feeling like we work and try to get so much done...and it's never possible to get it all done! Sounds like you are way busy with getting ready for your garden tour. You must have a fabulous garden. Anyway, I really love your card and love these flowers embossed and colored. And what a great layout with the beautiful DP and a lovely piece of ribbon. Beautifully done, my friend! So get back to work, and I hope you get the garden ready for the tour soon. Hugs!
It is definitely the perfect time of year to get all that long overdue yard work and projects done. So glad you are taking the time! But, I love this sentiment paired with this flower stamp! Fun and pretty!
