Blue Sparkles

This was done as a combination of the fan club January Christmas card theme ( Christmas Wedding blue, borrowed old new) and then the Feburary Christmas card challenge is an "fun" outdoor winter activity... so, this Winter Fairy was stamped on neenah and colored with copic's. she has bits of stardust stickles here and there. the fabric pearls brads was a Christmas gift (new) and the lace is vintage (old) the the blue swirly paper the white parts are all glitter ( it came this way) this one is 5X7 in real life.

This was done last weekend just because, the scraps of the first card were laying on the table. the Oval MFT doily die cut was rak'd to me from Janice ( Thanks Chickie!) and the wooden star was an Christmas gift from Stuffie! THANKS... this one is 5" square in real life. the bling on the sentiment tag is a lone yard sale find clip on earring that I removed the clipper part off the back with wire cutters. think that skinny ribbon is from offray.

Vintage Anniversary

This is 5X7 in real life. the Inkadinkado couple was stamped on some speckletone cream in Memento and colored slightly with copic's. then die cut with an resplendent rectangles die, this panel is up on pop dots. The mat under it is an die cut of crate paper of an romantic rectangles die. the lace is from recollections. the sentiment tag was trimmed skinnier. there is a bit of black grosgrain in the hole. The puffy heart is from Making Memories "sweets".

Some other Studio Shots

These were shot after the furniture went in...

This is the old corner that used to have all my stamping stuff in it. and the desk that belonged to hubs gma  is holding my sewing machine and will probably be staying there. need to get a shelf for the wall above it to hold the vintage 50's toy sewing machine and stuff I have collected. right now its on the floor or piled on the desk so it makes it hard to use the machine.

Grace is sitting near the door under the tv... this is the shot I said I would not do... the one showing hubs mess. haha this is friday afternoon which he spent some odd moments cleaning and organizing this weekend so a lot more of his stuff has been "put away" in his closets. ( he has both the closets on the east side of the room for "stuff" ) But, it was the only way to show the furniture.

Vintage suitcase holding a lot of 6" paper pads... this is pretty heavy so its on the floor under the rolling cart at the end of the table.  My old system was to pull out the papers I wanted to use and put them into the file cabinet in hanging folders sorted by main color. and this is more useful to know who makes them down the road as they are used... but, its also a pain to sit on the floor to dig through the case... so, I may end up going back to ripping up the pads and re-gifting the unloved sheets.

Something funny, J drag's me through the Army Navy surplus store 4 or 5 times a year when he gets to go to Medford and the color of this old lunch tray caught my eye. ( this is a used one) they sell them new for more money if you wanted one for food.. but, I thought oh that looks "useful" in the same kind of way as the muffin tins I already own so... picked on up and started using it to sort buttons but, they kinda look cool and are fun to dig through like this so I left them this way.

June's Birthday card

One last 2012 project... it's safe to post it because, she does not play online. This is 5X7 in real life, the sample size packs of neenah are large enough to cut down to do this fold with them... This is for my gal at work whose birthday is in a couple of weeks. the butterfly is heat embossed (twice) and the top layer is cut out and wings are up. the floral pp (die cuts with a view) is fuzzy. The gingham is May Arts ribbon, the trim is something off the cut it by the yard row at Joann's years ago. the quilted texture shiny cream is something from stampstruck from years ago. the button brads are from Making Memories. she has a "thing" for butterflies so hopefully. :)
I won't be at work on her birthday as I have an ice run.

Diva Shopper

Made this one as my first card done in 2013. and I joined the stamp to spend challenge ( for the heck of it) and so for a little while in my siggy line on splitcoast I had a lone dollar bill earned... it was for this card. so, now after the Christmas cards and tags from the other day its looking a little better $11.50 in the spending bank lol. This rubber romance diva has been colored on my desk for 6+ months or more... with these printed papers I thought I would never use because, they are really not "me" but, they were colors that worked with the colors I had done for her. And I've had them sitting there and I have been getting tired of dusting and moving it... so I was really tickled to see that Ina's challenge for the stamp to spend thread ( see post #50) was something fashion, opera or ballet. and I decided ( fist in the air YES she would be a card after all) haha. The black pink core cardstock sample came to me as an RAK from leibetty, ( Thanks LA!) PS I did not have to sand it the big shot pushed the pattern through it all on its own. this card is boxed as it is too thick for an paper envelope. and measures 6" square in real life.
