Mice at the Moment

a few house mouse sentiments (could be added to images or as extra sheet with images)
Stamps are NOT FOR SALE This one above is called angel delights stampa rosa.
The name of this one below is Silent Mice (Stampa Rosa) This one is one per quarter.
These are all from Stamp Rosa, starting the the top left corner: Love in a teacup, Frog Floating, Mice under Mistletoe, Chewable Aspirin,Nose to Nose in flowers, glitter hearts, giddy up (friend) Monica Romances, Together under the moon
Top left corner: Fantastic (note this image is too large for a quarter sheet and needs stamped on a half sheet), Mellow Melon, Hang in There, Hot Cocoa, Pure Bliss, Wreath Love, Sleeping with Strawberries ( Large version)
These are Stampabilities ones, the top left corner: Feeder Friends, Birthday Cupcake, Patriotic Wrap, Morning Kick start, Helping Hand, Fish Bowl, the last is that bear in the bottom left, hes a stampabilities "gruffie" (same artist who draws the mice i think?) name of it is Bear-ied in Paperwork.
Yes, I am willing to trade stamped images of these with people i "know" if i don't know you or you have a different Google name then a stamp board screen name email me and tell me... I would be willing to stamp these on Georgia pacific 110 (white walmart cardstock) with Versafine onyx black ink. (because that's what i like) I am not willing to stamp a bunch of images with stazon as the fumes make me sick. (Versafine does not dry on coated cardstocks such as SU whisper white, is why i use the gp110. it picks up all the details of the stamp beautifully and it dries on it.) but, then i color with pencils...
so, if you want to swap and you need it stamped with say Brilliance Graphite ink (heat set) to color with copic's i can do that also on gp110.
I know this took forever to post, sorry. Yep, I'm even willing to swap for non- House mouse images too...

Some Simple Mice

This one is still under construction.. gonna do some posts and find out what people are using to make the ice cube look like its melting... I know i could do diamond glaze, but I think what i am seeing is something else, something flat and watery looking when its dry. this one is called Chewable Aspirin. its stamped with versafine on gp110 and colored with pencils ( surprise surprise eh?) ribbon is may arts, red pp is daisy d's, the sentiments from Hero Arts. its 5X7 in real life.
This one is also 5X7 in real life, name of the house mouse image is Mellow Melon. versafine ink on gp110 colored with pencils. the sentiments from the su set circle of life and punched with an 1" punch, then up on a popdot.
this one went deep into my stash, remember when black and white gingham ribbon was on everything you seen? lol that pp is from Close to My heart way back when they sold wood mounted stamps...
very simple, this one is called sleeping with the strawberries, I received an image just like this from Peebsmama and I decided i had to have this one, and this one is stamped on an quarter sheet, and the ones Susan sent me two of this image fit onto an quarter sheet. so this is the large version. the sentiments from A Muse. Its 4 1/2 X 6" in real life, the textured green cardstocks from Bazzill.
Even more simple this one either came from the recent swap Jennifer had in the stamp shack or was one of my wishes at split coast, but because the paper has some kind of a texture that is almost like construction paper My guess is this came from the swap. the name on the back of it is Dragonflying, but i have no idea who to thank for it. Sentiments from A Muse, the pp is from ( i don't know but i bought it at Joann's many years ago when they first started selling open sheets of pp.) the cardbase is dcwv and this is A-2 in real life.

Pretty Basic Grey Paper

Basic Grey Mellow pp, with Stardream chiara (green) shimmer cardstock the red is Bazzill and the sentiments stamped on Fabriano Bianco ( I bought a sample pack of quarters along time ago now) and just now got around to stamping on a piece of it. I like how it feels almost has a fabric type feel to it. Have not yet tried to stamp an image that needs colored onto it yet. this card is 5X7 in real life. the sentiments from Penny Black ( I think will check on that later) and up on pop dots, there is some Christmas red stickles onto the flowers of the paper also. after i cut one piece to fit the card front, then i used the left over scrap to cut out the flowers and pop them up. The red satin ribbon is from an Joann's grab bag and the green is from Offray.
a look at the side view. very simple but, fun to look at later.

One of those days...

This is Carrie from the rubber romance diva line. This was colored way back when I first got her last year around my birthday... and after i had her colored and cut out i could never figure out what to do next because the of the leg in the air... then last month? or the month before? i found this wagon wheel in the rubbernecker line and thought hmmm maybe... (because i cannot draw even stick people to save my life) so, it is a good size to fit with her. :) the sentiment is from Inkadinkado, I found this in a clearance bin at craft warehouse in medford couple of weeks ago when Alice and I went over for the stamp sale. The printed papers are from Cosmo Cricket ( except the dark brown mat is Basic Grey) the textured cardstocks are from bazzill. the ric rac is unknown, mini brads are from lasting impressions. the corners were done with the su ticket corner punch. the creamy Carmel "floor" was run through the perfectly paisley cuttlebug folder. This card is 6 inches square in real life. and I will save it for Alice as she's one of the few people i could actually say this to.
I have to go to the rubbernecker site to remember what this vintage gal's name is. The Sentiments from Ann-ticipations and up on pop dots. The printed paper is "baseball diamonds" Imaginisce. the green cardstock is bazzill and the mats are Night of Navy from SU. when i seen this sentiment i thought, i have no chicks wearing jeans or pants of any kind so i picked her because she looks sassy and her skirt is fluffed out from her waist. there is a dolly mama stamp ( that i don't own) that has this chick in a huge ballooned out skirt that says... does this make my butt look big... that is the train of thought i had about this sentiment. The blue satin ribbon is from an grab bag at Joann's fabrics this card is 4 1/2 X 6 in real life.

Something new (but old)

I have always wanted this stamp since the first time i ever seen it. and usually when i find it for sale on eBay it goes too high. recently someone listed one that i managed to win. ( yay for me eh?) Its stamped with versafine onyx black on Georgia pacific 110 and colored with prisma pencils. the sentiment is from Define your life. ( I was granted this wish by 3 different ladies and this is from one of them, but i put all the words together so i can't tell you who stamped this one anymore or what color the ink is for sure)But I do know this is one of my wish sentiments and not one i did after i got this set. The textured cardstocks are all bazzill. the ribbon is May Arts. The antique mini brads are probably either creative impressions or doodlebug. after the rest of my family wakes up I think the plan is to go to yard sales this am, and pack for J's trip next week. Grace had her 3 rd round of puppy shots yesterday and her stitches removed. the Vet says she looks good she's a whopping 32 pounds now. have a good weekend!

More mice of course

I am so very serious about the mouse infestation... lol there is still one more somewhere in the postal system on its way here. so between all of the ones Ive bought and all of the ones i have received through wishrak there are lots of mice still left to color and play with. this one falls into the hand deliver category. Tami is the guest mystery challenge host in the stamp shack right now and the challenge is to use felt... a couple of valentines days ago, i found these hearts (already die cut) in dollar bin packages. I have used some before ( i think) but one of the things i found when using this one today is its really hard to get felt to stay on the card. I'm thinking this would be better to use the thin stuff that can run through the sizzix big steel dies and sew it to the card front. this has many many glue dots both on the hand made paper ( provocraft) and the back of the heart. the flowers on it are from Prima and have some stickles glitter glue in the centers. this card is 6 inches square in real life. the Orange velvet is from American crafts, the sentiment (SU handle with care) is stamped with versafine Spanish moss on the green shimmer ( stardream chiara cardstock) and then heat embossed with ranger detail clear. funny thing this star dream reacts differently to every ink so far i have tried on it and it was interesting to me to see the versafine bead up on it. the card base is Bazzill.
A closer look at how lumpy this one turned out to be.
This one the wreath love mice are from stampa rosa 1999. they are colored with prisma pencils. and stamped on GP110 with versafine ink. the textured peach mat is from Bazzill. the floral pp is from Daisy D's the largest piece of pp wallpapered to the card base is from Karen Foster (autumn leaves) the pp the sentiment is stamped on is double sided (looks like fabric) but, unknown. this card was done entirely from scraps (as most mine tend to be) the Love circle sentiment is from the dollar bin at Michael's. Its stamped with vintage sepia versafine then there is a bit of stardust gelly roll pen in the hearts. its up on pop-dots. the yellow picot ribbon is from Making Memories. The machine sewing is only on the printed papers, not visible on the inside of the card.
This is one of the original three mice images Ive had for a year or two? we went for a few years with no dogs before we had slick, and we had Betta gold fish (the first one lived for over 3 years) and so, this just cracked me up when i seen it the first time. The ribbon is from May Arts and i cut a slit into the spine of the cardbase (Bazzill) to wrap it all the way through and tie the knot. The sentiments from the SU set fancy flexible phrases and punched with the small oval, the large oval and the mat on the image are Bazzill cardstock also. this one is 4X6 in real life.
Tried something new as i was coloring this one, i made the shadow of the water be blue under the bowl instead of my usual combinations of grey. that's what really happens right? the rocks would reflect on the surface the bowl would be sitting on. I've noticed I'm still not putting in "light spots" its hard for me to look at the image and decide what direction the light is coming for so i tend to skip that part...
This adorable one is an Wish Rak image that was gifted to me from djuseless ( Thanks Diane!) the penny black sentiment is stamped on an oval punched with an EK success punch i found at the scrapers corner earlier this week. this one is Larger then the su large oval. I'm thinking that su licence or what ever they had with them must have expired because the store had three sizes of ovals, and also three sizes of the floral scallop patterned punch too. ( so three layers now instead of two)
anyways, its black ink on gp110 then color dusted with tattered rose distress ink. the teeny rick rack is vintage and unknown, the pink lace is from MM. the green and tan cardstocks are Bazzill and the card base is that shimmery Stardream Chiara (rose quartz) this one is also 4 1/4 x 6 inches in real life.
