WOYWW #328

This is what it looked like when I walked away to go downstairs and color on tuesday night after work. there are a few extra scripture sentiments out "drying" and I had in the middle of the sympathy card and samples for HYCCT making tried to use my antique linen pad again and remembered I had pretty much made it dry but, I did pick up a reinker bottle last week....

So, I opened that bottle and inked my pad... and evidently it looks like old paper reinker is in the antique linen bottles... ( which is not the end of the world ) but, I already have an old paper reinker. and now I am mildly hopeful that one of the big box stores in this town might actually have a new linen pad on the shelf because, its one of my "go to" colors.

The other stuff that followed me home last week with the reinker bottle. So far I have used the horse and the believe sentiment a few times now, the topiary bunny was colored for the first time last night so hoping to make that one into a card tonight. Want to play along with us? you can find out how to here on our hostess Julia's blog. Happy Wednesday Ladies!

I have several Tim pads and rarely use them but antique linen is one of the ones I do tend to use. What a bummer that you got the wrong reinker. You got some other nice stuff though. I like that horse stamp!!

Oh my goodness, this ink stuff can get complicated which probably why I barely have a few ink pads, and have trouble remembering when to use dye or ink and all that! Sandy Leigh #40

Oh, I've nevsr had to re ink any of my pads, but I only have a few. At least you know where you can get them locally. That's good.

What a shame you got the wrong re-inker, Stacy. I love my distress inks and use them for everything! People say they are no good for stamping, but they certainly are. They are one of my go-to products and I've got most of them now. Thanks for your lovely comment and your kind words - you say you are no good with words but what you said really hit the spot. I'm afraid there's no easy way round this, I've just got to get through it and keep as cheerful and upbeat as I can. Not long to go now and then hopefully that will be it and I'll be pronounced cancer free!!! The hugs are so appreciated too! I am so glad you like my little box. I am working on the get-well card now and so far, pleased with the results.

Happy belated WOYWW,

I know it's a hassle, but you should call Ranger. (732) 389-3535
It's bad enough that the distress markers have some with wonky colors, but this is a blatant error of packaging on their part. From what I hear, they will probably send you a bottle with the correct ink color in it, and your complaint would give their quality control the heads up. xoxo

Hi Stacy just popped in to check your desk this week, no post from me - too busy elsewhere. Loving your new stash but what a nuisance with the reinker - I like antique linen too. Enjoy your weekend RobynO

Yeah, antique linen is one of my go to colours too. I couldn't get a re-inker and was too impatient to wait, so I bought the Distress Stain instead...it too isn't really as good a colour as my ink pad. Strange. Hope the store will swap it for you.cute stamps!
