Winter Blues

Love this snowman ( penny black frosty) still have not caved and bought it.. this is an old old wish rak image, I've colored all the ones I have received so far and have a new wish out for some more of them ( yes, I'm rolling my eyes) This card was put together for an December wish rak Challenge using a sketch found here: This is 5 1/2" square in real life. the Frosty is barely barely colored with prisma pencils. I believe it is stamped on gp110, unknown black ink. This was die cut with an spellbinders labels 11 die. the cream layer is Neenah columns die cut with spellbinders label 1. this panel is up on pop dots. The light blue lace is from Wrights and the irrdecent cord is from May Arts. the Sentiments from Gina K designs ( make a wish ) and its die cut with the labels trio die. there is a bit of pale blue chalk ink dragged along the edges of the white panels. the lace part of the sketch is vintage. the snowflake printed paper is from "Little yellow Bicycle" there is some stickles ( frosted lace) on the falling snow part of the image and the card base is Bazzill. This was done for the stamp tv current sketch challenge from Gina K. the sentiment/label stamps are from the Winter Mittens set and the snowflakes are from the spellbinders 2010 snowflake pendant die done in some scraps of blue cardstock. The cardbase is stardream and shimmery in real life. this is 4 1/2" X 6" in real life. This did not turn out how i thought of it as i was at work... but, It is OK, just have to figure out another way to glue these die cut snowflakes down.. ran them through an Xyron machine then spent about 20 minutes trying to rub all the glue boogers off the card base. also used 3 different shades of stickles on the snowflakes and i think that gave it an interesting look after it was dry.

reveal card {Wish Rak}

This year's wish rak Christmas exchange ( secret santa ) theme was "Letters to Santa" and this is a peek of what I am mailing away... half pearls on the stamped image, this one is 5X7 in real life. it's signed with a sticky note inside so its part of the gift. Hero Arts branch, Gina K designs sentiment, ( mind's gone blank on the ornament maybe stampendous or inkadinkado.) Dear Santa, I'm sorry to be sending this off so early do not want to torture you with seeing the box every day until it can be opened but, decided it was better to send it early in case the delivery service ( not as reliable as raised by hand reindeer I'm sure) have technical difficulties in completing their part of the job... Since i don't enjoy stale cookies your cookies are coming in the form of a recipe card that is not show here... hope you enjoy this!

Christmas Hedgies

My Mother-In-Law gifted me with a small pile of these crocheted flowers recently. (nope you can't have her, I can share her though but, none of Hub's brothers are single)
I don't remember this particular hedgehog's name but, i found one for sale on the bay last month going for dirt cheap so I bought it. It's colored with prisma pencils and the die cut layer is up on pop dots... Basic Grey Printed papers. unknown blue cardstock, the sentiment on the front is an Hampton Arts dollar bin one and the sentiment on the inside is from Stampin up. 6" square in real life. Little bit of creamy brown fluid chalk ink along the edges of this die cut ( and the one on the front)

Shepherd's Market Booth Display

Shepherd's Market craft bazaar booth friday morning right before it opened. Friday AM I needed to provide an raffle item for the school to use as part of their fundraiser for this craft bazaar and i filled a small basket with a bakers dozen individual Christmas gift tags. Which i did have a group of ladies who seen this basket in the raffle line up and that made them stop by the booth to buy cards. I left this years basket "open" so people could finger through what was inside of it. These baskets ( what was left of them two have been removed for being empty as was the spinning thread holder) are only half full. I sold that many cards. I have since packed up an box to send to OWH ( see side bar for links) It was a long, fun two days. I'm glad it only comes along once a year though. :)

9 tags in 1.5 hours

another playroom shot of how I can do it, when I have a small amount of time to just stamp, I stamp, and sometimes i die cut and or spread out what i made and add stickles to it and walk away... then later when everything is dry i dump them into containers Like this muffin tin ( an old one i bought at a yard sale for .50 cents just because i liked the color of it) and this makes it easy to see at a glance what is "ready to go" and move it out of the way I sometimes make piles along the edge of the table but, the being able to move the piece's especially small pieces is better. Room looks like a wreck at the moment. spent hours after these tags adding price tags to packaged cards for next weekends booth. and finally admitted i DO have a cold. Achoo!
