Today

I did not make a thing, well. I made a bunch of bills, service charges and statements.
because, it was billing day and that's what I do...

and I most likely have photos in my folder to be uploaded I could have stuck in here.

but, today first girl ( who has yet to be named) has become more frisky, walks better and sticks much closer to her mama then on day one ( she mostly slept the first day)

and another thing that happened today is I found out in a round about way that someone who rak'd me something that I have an envelope going for her in return on my table upstairs has passed away. and as an "internet acquainted person"  there is no way for her family to know that she had meant something to me. and for that I am sorry. because, I do not know them either there is not a lot I can say to them except I am sorry for their loss.

and this has me thinking, if you think of all the people who "know" you only because of the internet... how will those people know if something were to happen to you. Do you have a something/someone/system in place to put the word out somehow?
on the internet if something were to happen to you?

Scraps

scraps with an Hero Arts sentiment ( a-2)

stamped these a year ago and intended to color them... decided the heck with it they looked OK as line drawings.

these are a little smaller at 3" square

heat embossed doily on a impress blue tag.

die cut onesie, ms elephant punch, Hero Arts sentiment

for the store.

thinking this ones American Art stamps. popped up the lid and inked its edges.

I would have to dig out the stamp to remember that cup, colored it a long time ago, Impression Obsession tag stamp and SU sentiment. (A-2)

I came across this stack of A-2 sized card bases in a drawer on monday and started pushing them around with colored images and scraps so... this one was done simply because, its always pointed out to me that there are a lot more coffee things in my sale bins then tea... ( I drink tea when Im sick...) lol so... that's how it got its sentiment.

an PTI die I thought looked like a daisy. done on some thin white shimmer paper from staples. the tag I think is also an PTI done on a scrap of provocraft a long time ago.

this paper made me laugh so I bought it ( fancy pants) then before Christmas I ordered these specktacles die from taylored expressions. ( this is actually 4 layers of paper die cut glued together) sentiments I think from Impression obsession. this ones about 4" square in real life.

more scraps and then I had this sentiment out last week so just put this together too.

graphic45 paper Ive had a while... the red label is an tim holtz not a real vintage one ( which I have a bunch of those right?) so this one the paper is slippery like a sticker and the stamping smeared on it, so, its two stickers stacked then added the sentiment to cardstock and just added the bits from there.

might give this one to hubs some time. these are both a-2 in real life.

first girl

One of our female sheep gave birth during the middle of the night last night to this little baby girl. :) ( the other pg sheep should go at any time) the third female sheep was not bred till a month behind the other two so we could have as many as 4 more lambs over the next week and month or so.

this is her mama, and her father was mostly solid black.

these are hair sheep breeds that are Dorper and Katahdin mix.

FS312 Lacy Wishes

an closer look. the smocking scrap was very thick, and the second side of it ( the laces are machine stitched to a top panel same shimmery opal cardstock as the cardbase.) and it slipped but, when I am doing such a small piece that thick this seems to be a common thing. I dont see it slip anymore... ( and yes it was wrapped around and scotch taped to that panel before it went through the machine) but, I think i am going to have to start using some glue dots on the front of the piece before stitching also. when it weighs so much.

at any rate its still an use-able card. this is 5X7 in real life. the base is stardream opal and the sentiments from Hero Arts pen wishes heat embossed in seafoam white. the lace and smocking are vintage as is the white crochet bloom. this card was done for this weeks featured stamper. Congratulations Bonnie, this is her card I chose. The tannish doily was from some pack from Jules store when it first opened. ( I don't remember the mfg details sorry)  So the changes I made are more layers, stamps and switched out the pearl for a button.

{Assorted Things}

So, I still need some things for the coming VSN mini next friday and I had been poking around in the drawer of unmounted stamps because, I used an Unity set on one of the samples I seen some of the other boxes of Unity stamps and thought, oh you should play with some of these... this was done with hubs in mind but, I am pretty sure I made him one like this last year for V day maybe with this set so,this one may end up in the sale box at work. I sold all the valentines I had a week or so ago. so, now there are just regular "love" or anniversary type cards left there. and I like that it is not red and white. this is A-6 in real life, the base was pre made, the couple was stamped on Neenah and a lot of scraps and paper pieced. the brads were a christmas gift and the kraft is PTI.

Have never inked this Unity set so I think this one although it is only 3" square just may become the vday card unless I come up with something I like better between now and then. the metal watch thing is Tim holtz this has some distress inks colordusted along the edges.

had the stamps inky so just made some more for the sale box.

the little wooden stars are from studio calico and then this one has some random watch/clock part stamps from SU added to it on a pre-stained tag.

had not inked this one before either. Unity stamps. ( have to find my cheat sheet its upstairs and edit later) but, the pp was paper pieced and its hot off the press, the brighter green is an scrap of SU. the tag was a shipping tag stained with some ranger ink.

and again, the lace is washi tape and the sentiment is from Rubber Soul. there is some stickles on this one along the scallops of the punched cardstock of the sentiment and in the centers of the paper daisy's. those daisys are from a wedding paper that comes with clear glitter glued to the edges and centers of the flowers but, I made the centers more dimensional with the stickles. ( in this shot it almost gives it an Pearl shape, but this was shot wet so Im sure its flattened out a bit since then)

little inkadinkado birdy stamped on a scrap colored slightly and then the edges are color dusted with distress inks. this one is 3" square in real life.

just some scraps. got that butterfly stick pin from Impress a while back and they are laying on the table. I have dug out a lot of bug and bird things to either color or as just in case doing VSN samples. ( or thinking about doing VSN samples lol) This one is A-6 in real life. that purple scrap was pierced with an SU template and then I cut it out by hand because, I have not caved on the dies to match haha.

Time

So, I have been procrastinating my fil's bday card (today) for a good two weeks now and had been wanting to do something like this along these lines in an more CAS version of this card I did last spring because I knew I had picked up this paper last summer... then when I was at work today I happened across this challenge and decided it was just fate and there is nothing like the last minute eh? this card actually only took about 9 minutes to make because, its just printed papers with one sentiment stamped and die cut. this is 6" square in real life. (these words were actually written yesterday, when I did this... just did not get around to blogging these cards) Sentiment stamp is from A Stamp in the Hand co. the clockwork paper is DCWV tattered time pad, and the other is the neutrals matstack. the base is bazzill and the cream is Neenah.

this piece of printed paper was in the same pad from die cuts with a view ( tattered time) and I like it also but, the colors are more rusty with hints of reddish burgundy in it than the other so. this was also laying on the table when the first card was done... since all the stamps and such were out this one went together even faster. this ones tag has a tiny recollections brad in the hole and then some kind of tim holtz watch part above it. the distress inks on this sentiment are rusty hinge and vintage photo. so, this one ( going in the sale stash) is A-6 in real life.

Daisy Days

This one is 5X7 in real life, the butterfly was done melted pearls and cut out years ago... the daisy was heat embossed on vellum sometime last year and die cut with an scalloped circle die. the Impression Obsession tag stamp was done sometime last year in distress ink and cut out by hand ( they came out with the dies later...) the lace and ric rac are vintage. the su canvas was stamped with stream colored ink on some pale neenah green scrap as a test for this in that color ink for the Easter bunny card from the other day. the edges used an SU hand held punch on it. the dark tealish blue is Bazzill and I wasted the rest of the daylight looking for a whole sheet of this gingham for the mfg. info... no dice. the other side of it looks like stitching and I want to say "oct afternoon" but. who knows how that memory thing is... the vintage victorian ish brad is from Impress. Sentiment's from stampendous. so, there was an use 5 stamps on one project challenge at scs recently and I may end up linking this one to that.

did the blooms a long time ago, left is Karen Lockhart daisy cupcake, the one on the right is 3 images from PSX. the for you is from SU. these are 3 1/2" square in real life.

Unity mega teacup on some old old basic grey with an heat embossed PSX daisy flower on pop dots, the sentiments from the gina k set called make a wish. this one is a-6 in real life. the dot pp is from an 8" pad. but, I don't remember the details.

another 3 1/2" card with an oh mind just went blank for this flowers real name done in daisy colors..., and an Hero Arts sentiment.

This one is A-2 in real life, the embossed scrap is reversed with some yellow stickles in the centers. ribbon is unknown, sentiment is from SU. the white is all Neenah. and the white with gold flecks handmade looking paper is unknown.

the first ones of this batch I actually made, some scrap of K & Co. pp. that I cut into 2 3/4" size to use with these 3" square gift cards, the ribbons and laces are all different. the sentiment was stamped on some Neenah with versafine and an old MM magnetic alphabet. these were die cut with an SU hand held punch. ( intended for the store)

Fixed it

so added the fabric-y prima to this one and it made the scale a little better but, must had had something on the table... so the back side of the card has an ink or dust or something spot on it now. ( shakes head ) one of those not winning things lol...

and I've been thinking about this spam/hacking and I think I know what triggered it. I had in my gmail "contacts" it had things like my vet and dentist PHONE NUMBERS and recently I plugged my cell phone into the do not call list online... and it's supposed to take 30 days or so before it goes into effect... and my phone started ringing off the hook the day after I did this. so I am starting to believe that my gmail was hacked through my smart phone some how. ( I do have antivirus in my phone) and I have since deleted gmail from my phone and erased all contacts inside gmail and google plus. and that seems to have stopped the spam thing at the moment.

Teal Easter

Stampassions mr dapper bunny colored with copic's. used some scraps on the table for the layers and some old silk ribbon. the tag, was pre stained a long time ago and the sentiment's from Impression Obsession. this one is 6" square in real life. used an SU canvas background with stream ink on the pale purple cardstock layer.

Spam update

well, the having no contacts in the gmail or the google plus seems to have stopped it from being able to send mail as me again last night...

I did hear from some people that they "tried" to open the attachment anyways because, it came from me... but they were unable to do so.

straight up. I do not send out mail with attachments in them. but, to be safe lets not use that email me button to the side for a while ok?

and have a good monday

Tuesday...

This gal's name is Tuesday Bathing Beauty from Whipper Snapper Designs, this image was rak'd to me years and years ago. I've been hoarding her and finally decided to color her and use it you know. I have been finding that a lot of what I have was stamped in Versafine and some of these open design's I'm doing mostly OK with coloring them with copic's. the panel was die cut with an lattice rectangle die and is up on pop dots on the side not under the lumpy provocraft paper. the birdcage printed paper is from Basic grey, used the scalloped SU border die on a scrap of bazzill because, I had not put it away yet from doing all the flower pots on saturday. Seam binding, twine and a button. this ones 6" square in real life.

FS311 Blooming Buttons

Found this card in this week's featured stampers gallery and thought how cool is this... so, I did change the colors and stamps. Here is Angela's card. Mine is A-6 in real life. the buttons are craft store ones with hemp string and the Heart flower blossom is from Hero Arts with an A Muse sentiment.

Spring Faire Mothers Day Cards

Trying to create a stash of Mothers day cards for the Spring Faire, thought you should use up some of this stuff just here... these red card bases were premade ( 6" square) the butterfly pp is from Pebbles. the tiny whit doily is from Martha Stewart the largest square doily is from CTMH, the med round white doily is from (food co. you can still buy these mind just went blank) the black doily die cuts were rak'd to me from Janice. ( thanks Chickie!!) the pearls are recollections, the sentiments from SU.

I wanted to do something... not what I would normally do... so, Im not really all that sure I like these, but I used a lot of "trendy" things on them that I had to have. (rolling eyes here)

Spring Faire Flower Pot Pocket Cards

10 Flower Pot Pocket cards using this Splitcoast Tutorial except I used premade flowers from my stash, which threw off the scale of them. the tutorial uses handmade flowers which balance better in this size of a pot.

This butterfly was made a long time ago with the melted pearls tech. and it was just funny to see that it matches the cajun craze cardstock color so well. I have all my bugs and butterflies and such that I prestamped out on the table just in case some of them will work for the next VSN samples...

DCWV pp.

More die cuts with a view pp. the daisy wild orchid flowers those centers are very fragile... and I broke off parts of the yellow on these trying to get the flower to stick to the glue do to the pot. and I used the largest craft size glue dots on these.

Prima flowers with wild orchid ones.

Prima flowers with basic grey pp. and an A Muse sentiment. this is the first project I have used that MS doily border punch on... the scale of it was small enough to get it straight across the rim of the pot.

Prima and wild orchid flowers with basic grey pp. and an Bazzill base.

Prima and Making Memories flowers the dot pp is bo bunny.

Prima flowers, basic grey pp. SU sentiment. leather tan seam binding ( hug snug ) its nearly a perfect match for Kraft cardstock projects.

this one I need to re-do those flowers. this particular batch of prima flowers only had "pairs" and so two of the large ones the scale is off balance wise and I am not happy with this one. so it will be re-done later today.

more die cuts with a  view pp. wild orchids and prima flowers with SU sentiment on an Impression Obsession die cut of a scrap of cajun craze.
