Inspired by {OPI}

This week the Inspiration destination is OPI
You can find the details to play along here in the challenge thread.

 I recently found these newish from Germany (Alexandra Renke Magic Flower #3) dies on the shelf ( on sale) in person at the Craft Warehouse store and thought ooh, those are big enough to paper piece... and so, since I also have piles of new handmade backgrounds on the table left over from last week I decided to use the scraps of this one that came from that Christmas Ornament card to do this.
The sentiment is from the Hero Arts set called You're beautiful and it is up on foam pop dots over the paper pieced diecut flower.
The base of this card is a stardream aqua one so, it shimmers along with the petals.
The tutorial for creating marbled backgrounds with nail polish can be found here. I did use some heavy 140# mixed media paper from strathmore to do mine not knowing how wet it would be and or to support the weight. it does take a couple days to air out the fumes too.

below is a shot of the nail art that uses colors similar to the nail polish background scraps in the petals seen above. ( the skin tones looked a little pink-ish to me)

you can see the step by step how to achieve these nails instructions here at OPI.
 That about if for me, thanks for stopping by.
