WOYWW # 387 {before & after}

Happy Wednesday, if you'd like to play along with us the link up starts here at our hostess Julia's blog.
My before shot on Tuesday after work as my birthday was Sunday and I had some happy mail arrive on Monday afternoon also so, I had spread it around trying to decide where to start.  and that happened to be with the pile on the right from Two Paper Diva's. My brain got totally stuck on those graters in the set because, I had a few years back found vintage metal graters that I decorated (slightly) and used as great big gift tags for a couple of our friends. I wish that these graters were not so hard to come by in reality because, I would totally do these for the booth. and with that thought in mind and also a pervious push from June I ended up making these.

This is just a peek shot I will end up doing a TPD post tomorrow on Thursday like usual, so these were all heat embossed with liquid platinum powder and the one on the bottom left taught me I cannot cut double thickness cardstock with a gyro cutter so, I whacked off the right side of the top handle and just heat embossed a second one on the white so that the colored scrap part of the grater could paper piece into it.

and this is how I walked away from it all.

Nice little birthday stash! Happy belated Birthday! I'm sure you will find SOMETHING to do with those goodies! You grater cards are very cute. I have seen mini-graters at a Dollar Store - they would be fun to use! Thanks for sharing! Lindart #41

What a great stamp set, I wonder if my everyday grater which looks exactly like this would qualify a vintage? ive had it about 30 years!! Your 'finished up' desk looks pretty good to me, still a nice collection of stuff around the work area, but not carnage! Belated happy returns too!

What a crazy idea to use cheese graters as gift tags but totally original! I would have never thought of that! I love the pun with "you're the gratest" as well! Thanks for popping in earlier! Enjoy the rest of your week! zsuzsa #31
