WOYWW {an Oct timelapse series} #334

Welcome to the mess, :) can you believe its almost November already? where does the time go anyways? If you'd like to play along with us shoot a photo of your play space and head over to our hostess Julia's blog to link up to this hop.

So, I am still alive but, totally focused on getting the Hope you can cling to posts done each day. ( this is the only month of the year that I post daily to my blog so, its a challenge for me) I would much rather take one post and dump all the cards into it. ( well, if you peek in here from time to time you all ready know that) so anyways, I have been taking photos of the desk when I play on the weekends thinking to post them on wednesdays but, the time just gets away from me. so, this is probably 2 weeknds ago now.

and so was this ( 2 weeks ago) those are gift sacks from a package of them from Micheals with some scrap Christmas papers and already stamped and diecut words or images. ( headed to the booth next month)

These are slightly smaller gift sacks ( same thought process)

now these shots I took last week with the intentions of posting them on Wednesday... so, the desk looked like this for nearly the whole week too. that ornament die is from Hero Arts with the stamped words in the lower right they are a "set" I was messing around with putting some avery elle or lawn fawn stitched tags into the centers to make them more solid. and then I added the same dies to the back sides so if you hung them they would have the design on both the front and back.

and so,

off to the right are a couple of new pads of papers I picked up on the 19th and some strings and ribbons that were going into all those ornament tags I have been doing and the scrap pile.

a closer look at the ornament tags.

now this is my desk in the spare room where I color. just a quick one before I ran out the door this morning of what is probably coming next ( more Christmas things to be colored piled in a heap on the right) and the post card book is something that followed me home last week also. ( its like those big coloring books but, in a size that is for post cards so my thought process is, if I color something I like maybe it will get mounted to a card front.

I like the retrospective of October here. You've certainly been keeping busy besides doing the Hope Blog Hop. Lots of neat things happening in your neck of the woods.

You have been busy. Those ornament tags are very pretty. I've done 2 cards for the challenge. I've been more focused on trying to get stuff moved in and in place in the studio. I'm hoping to make serious progress today (Saturday). The coloring of postcards sounds like a relaxing project. Even if not for a card front, then at least a quick happy mail off to someone. Creative Blessings! Kelly #41
