On another note when I came home from work on Monday I needed a Birthday card for my mother in law whose birthday is today and this is what I put together.
So you can see why I am grinning this morning. the card at the top being donated was done weeks ago for a sample for Misti and you know I am always surprised in the morning when they go live as to which card is going live that day. ( I don't remember things like that) so, the fact that last night I made a card with melted pearl butterflies and torn paper just makes me laugh this morning. That sentiment is from Wordsworth.
This is the inside. these papers are from Creative Imaginations a very long time ago. I almost picked a wine theme to go with them and seen the butterflies in that teacup and thought those colors look ok together.
Now this is a second card for Kathy's challenge yesterday which was supposed to be "tasty food" for which I made a coffee card and I decided I had time to do another one and follow the rules this time. that felt cupcake was a gift from Janice last May. the sentiment is from Riley & co. and the printed paper is basic grey.

I love that top card. It has such a lovely vintage feel to it. The jewel tones of your second card are scrumptious. As for the cupcake... I want pie! No one loves me enough to bring me pie though. I need a better quality of minion. What am I saying?! I need a minion!!!
