Hope you can cling to {day 27}

A closer look at the bird. it is paper pieced onto that background so, its body is a tiny bit 3-d.  I had stamped the bird body on an outer edge of this background which is why the colors are so close together. ( its a camo bird haha) which makes sense when you read the zinger sentiment below.

 When this challenge was issued. ( the kids one) I knew I had this sentiment stamped and diecut on my table. ( but, I did not remember that it was something that came to me via Wish Rak a million years ago. and I have no clue who gifted it to me or what company makes it.) ( I wish I knew I would totally buy this stamp...) its tied onto the tulle with scrappers floss.

 Now this was done for the super hero challenge. and I knew as soon as I read the words that I do not own typical hero type images. so, the baby bunting die was used as a "cape" for Rosie... you get that right? :)

 Edna's challenge is to have strength in numbers ( Masking either a group of animals or people) with an we are all there for you theme. I thought the ducks sentiment would make it fun since these are obviously not ducks...

And Shannon's challenge is to make a salted background. this is the first time I have done this so, it was funny to me that I kept flicking salt trying to see if it had worked or not yet. :) Patience is still not a virtue I possess. :)
