More mice of course

I am so very serious about the mouse infestation... lol there is still one more somewhere in the postal system on its way here. so between all of the ones Ive bought and all of the ones i have received through wishrak there are lots of mice still left to color and play with. this one falls into the hand deliver category. Tami is the guest mystery challenge host in the stamp shack right now and the challenge is to use felt... a couple of valentines days ago, i found these hearts (already die cut) in dollar bin packages. I have used some before ( i think) but one of the things i found when using this one today is its really hard to get felt to stay on the card. I'm thinking this would be better to use the thin stuff that can run through the sizzix big steel dies and sew it to the card front. this has many many glue dots both on the hand made paper ( provocraft) and the back of the heart. the flowers on it are from Prima and have some stickles glitter glue in the centers. this card is 6 inches square in real life. the Orange velvet is from American crafts, the sentiment (SU handle with care) is stamped with versafine Spanish moss on the green shimmer ( stardream chiara cardstock) and then heat embossed with ranger detail clear. funny thing this star dream reacts differently to every ink so far i have tried on it and it was interesting to me to see the versafine bead up on it. the card base is Bazzill.
A closer look at how lumpy this one turned out to be.
This one the wreath love mice are from stampa rosa 1999. they are colored with prisma pencils. and stamped on GP110 with versafine ink. the textured peach mat is from Bazzill. the floral pp is from Daisy D's the largest piece of pp wallpapered to the card base is from Karen Foster (autumn leaves) the pp the sentiment is stamped on is double sided (looks like fabric) but, unknown. this card was done entirely from scraps (as most mine tend to be) the Love circle sentiment is from the dollar bin at Michael's. Its stamped with vintage sepia versafine then there is a bit of stardust gelly roll pen in the hearts. its up on pop-dots. the yellow picot ribbon is from Making Memories. The machine sewing is only on the printed papers, not visible on the inside of the card.
This is one of the original three mice images Ive had for a year or two? we went for a few years with no dogs before we had slick, and we had Betta gold fish (the first one lived for over 3 years) and so, this just cracked me up when i seen it the first time. The ribbon is from May Arts and i cut a slit into the spine of the cardbase (Bazzill) to wrap it all the way through and tie the knot. The sentiments from the SU set fancy flexible phrases and punched with the small oval, the large oval and the mat on the image are Bazzill cardstock also. this one is 4X6 in real life.
Tried something new as i was coloring this one, i made the shadow of the water be blue under the bowl instead of my usual combinations of grey. that's what really happens right? the rocks would reflect on the surface the bowl would be sitting on. I've noticed I'm still not putting in "light spots" its hard for me to look at the image and decide what direction the light is coming for so i tend to skip that part...
This adorable one is an Wish Rak image that was gifted to me from djuseless ( Thanks Diane!) the penny black sentiment is stamped on an oval punched with an EK success punch i found at the scrapers corner earlier this week. this one is Larger then the su large oval. I'm thinking that su licence or what ever they had with them must have expired because the store had three sizes of ovals, and also three sizes of the floral scallop patterned punch too. ( so three layers now instead of two)
anyways, its black ink on gp110 then color dusted with tattered rose distress ink. the teeny rick rack is vintage and unknown, the pink lace is from MM. the green and tan cardstocks are Bazzill and the card base is that shimmery Stardream Chiara (rose quartz) this one is also 4 1/4 x 6 inches in real life.

I love all your house mouse cards, Stacy! I have a big order on the way to me, and maybe we'll have to do some swapping of images---you have a lot I don't have! :)
