WOYWW #307 {still fairly clean}

Welcome to the non-mess haha. The link up for this blog hop starts here at our hostess Julia's blog
Its a funny true story. since I cleaned off my desk two weekends ago, and I have been shooting this shot with my cell phone with my arms above my head, if I do that... all you see is the green cut mat...
So, I backed up into the closet to shoot you this angle.

On the left I have a package of paper smooches slang gang sentiments and on the right are scraps that those sentiments were stamped on sunday afternoon ( they were drying there) shot this tuesday after work before I made some cards (youcanseethecardshere) I had received this tranquil moments die set in the mail and nope I have not taken the gryo cutter out of the package yet. ( but, I did stamp and paper piece some tea cups) I want to try it cutting the insides of the handles. I had colored a few images on tuesday before I went upstairs and tucked those into the sentiments tray instead of putting them away so, I can see them to use them. oh, and off to the right is a tube of heavy acrylic paint to play with. ( I am thinking this is the kind that leaves awesome texture behind) not sure what I am going to do with it yet but, there was a half price sale on brushes and paints at Micheals on tuesday. so, I also bought an angled shading brush but, its already been put in the flowerpot of brushes behind the lights. So, in other news I sold 15 cards at work last week so, that created a mental panic of oh no. ( still trying to feel like I am close to being having enough to last 2 days haha) someone asked about pricing last week. and they all of my cards have a different price tag on them. if you click the link on the side that says booth display. that shows some of what I have done in the past and maybe even shots of price tags. so, there are 3 more creating weekends to go until the booth happens.

It looks like your desk is ready to play :) I know what you means about the happy but paniced feeling of selling some items. My friends and customers keep saying I should make an etsy shop..but I feel like I don't have enough inventory for that as I keep selling everything LOL Shel@PaperOctilloStudio #54

I've stopped by here 3 times today and every time I stop by someone comes along and makes me work (how rude, huh?). I like the tidy look for your desk. There is still enough around the edges to get into trouble over and plenty of room to fill up!

Good job on selling some of your cards. I only sell to select people at work otherwise everyone else wants a card or two and specially made. I don't do cards on demand.

Is that the Liquitex paint? In which case yes - you'll get some lovely texture with that, it's the majority of what I used on the canvas on my desk :) My favourite brand.

15 cards! Whoa - that is a LOT - do you have to make loads to replace them?

Thanks for stopping by to see me already.

Hi Stacy, I love your space and all your containers with things so handy, and the two Ott lights give great lighting. I peeked at your lovely cards too, enjoy the weekend seeing as its Friday here now Cheers RobynO#24

15 cards in a week....that's great going Stacy. Back I. The day, I did end up steam,ining my prices and eventually sold all the cards for the same price..but there's was always a deal if they bought more than two. It helped with change, working out, speed, and sales. Good luck with the booth preps...I would say a tidy desk is helpful to keep your mind sorted!

Congrats on selling the cards. I had a look and they are fabulous. I can understand your panic, every time I sell a painting I'm scared I won't get another done in time. It's all part of the fun.
Have a great week,
