WOYWW #302 Still using up Scraps

Happy Wednesday Deskers If you do not normally have time for a drop by on wednesday you can read all about this blog hop at our hostess Julia's blog where the link up is and play a long.

These are really my tuesday shots... they are kinda a time lapse instead of a one shot peek. (this is the desk I have behind my desk at work because, I found this box on my doorstep when I pulled out of the garage to go to work. and these words were facing out.) and it made me smile.

on Monday it was raining and I only got 3 cards done so, when I finished those cards I started randomly stamping sentiments on scraps and spread them all over the table to dry. ( I tend to use Versafine ink a lot for sentiments it just ends up looking more vibrant to me) and so, inside that box of happy was this camera set from MFT along with mostly cardstock and some pierced star dies.

So, this is a during shot. I ended up upstairs for about 3 hours on tuesday afternoon. did not get any cards made but, I had been making some simple 3" cards for the booth last weekend and what I noticed about the prestamped & cut sentiments I have in the bowls is that the bulk of them are tag shaped because, when I do larger cards I tend to tie on the sentiments. and for those bitty square cards sometimes its easier to have ones that do not need tied on.
a view to the left of the center.

a closer look at what is above. the ones on the left were cut with scissors.

a glance to the right. the camera ones were done last so, I was not sure they were going to dry enough to get cut on tuesday.

now see that plastic box? in the winter when I attempt to do this, I run out of light so, I never get everything I stamped in one round of this cut so the extras always get tossed in this box. the thing is I had enough daylight that I got all but those 3 or 4 things left in the photo below cut and some things from inside this box previously stamped cut.

So, this is what I was left with when I called it a day. (today I will scoop them all up and put them in the bowl and continue with the bitty cards again) (have a booth in May)  Thanks for stopping by :)

Awh, you snuck over and gave me a visit, whilst I was out nosing around other desks. Thanks for the comment too.

I LOVE the box you new stash arrived in.

Happy to see I am not the only one who pre-stamps sentiments for future use.

Have a great week

PS I'm thinking of our fellow desk hopper Shoshi today who's operation has been postponed yet again! I can't imagine how she must be feeling.

I love that saying! This box has a whole lot of happy, open it up it's time to get crafty. And indeed it was full of crafty happy goodness. You have so many wonderful things prepped to go on a craft making spree. I love that you got some of those snarky sayings. SO much fun. Judy #64

What fun to receive a box like that - and what a lot of lovely things you have for us to see today. Love those Nesties!
Not sure where you live but if in the UK I think those stamps are available in Hobbycraft or The Range (the ones on my blog).
Have a great week

I'll have to keep Versafine in mind next time I'm ink shopping as your images did turn out vibrant and lovely! Thanks for the tip.

A box of delights and a nice busy desk! What more could you wish for, for WOYWW? Thank you for your lovely comment, and I agree, it's really funny the sort of stuff you learn while desk hopping lol! Thank you for your good wishes. I am feeling a lot less frustrated by this second delay now, but hoping we'll hear something by the end of this week because without a date it's so hard to plan anything. Ideally I'd like to be in next week. I should imagine that my surgeon will put me at the head of the list now, since he's already had to put me off twice.

Happy WOYWW,

That box is really clever. It's good to see such a mess all over the desk, makes me feel right at home. I sat and looked at all those sayings and I had tears of laughter rolling down my cheeks. The duct tape one really got me. Have afun with all your new goodies.

Hi Stacy, thanks for visiting. The box verse in brilliant and that camera shots kits is such a hoot...have fun them. I have a couple of 'fun' sayings but end up reluctant to use them on cards in case I offend someone...just all good fun. Have a great week RobynO#24

This is my first time visiting your desk! Thanks for letting me peep. :) Wow, you are quite productive and I agree with you on the Versafine. I just adore it but it needs time to dry!
