WOYWW #301 Lots of Stuff

I have my brand new computer... however, I have no photo programs in it at all yet. so, these are photos from the phone emailed to this computer and saved to the desk top... no tinkering with them at all... If you want to know why the mess is on display, head over to our hostess Julia's blog here and read the what for ( because, we all wanna see ) and the how to play along info...

So, it went something like this Sunday we took a road trip that took up the better part of the day to deliver a custom built trailer half way across the state... where there happens to be a Ben Franklin's Crafts store and they had stencils and stencils were actually on sale... (so some of those followed me home) if you squint closely at the white pedestal bowl the clear thing with holes in it is the ghetto stencil I made to do the Bokeh tech. cards with. the circles did not cut out perfectly ( think the packaging I used was too thick) and it did not make a difference with sponging the ink through them. the circles on the cardfront did not look jagged I mean.

and a few of the stamps on the left. the funny bones ones. now the stamps on the right and the dies on the left are Happy Mail that was a total surprise from my mom. the sticky notes, pens and hair thing too. This box and the box from Amazon arrived on Tuesday. ( I have not been upstairs to play since Saturday) so, this is all on the desk waiting for time to be put away and or played with. the white ink pad is the one I was using for the faux Bokeh technique card what a week ago? ( I lose track of the time frequently)

So, the dies are from my mom, from Amazon I ordered some grid sheets and extra cling for the MISTI and the 6" gelliplate and the Steampunk colored Gellato's  The IO flag stamp and the USMC scrapbooking sticker are from Ben Franklins.

an overhead view I think I am going to try that big fat white pen with the ghetto stencil and more Bokeh stuff.
and a closer look at what these stamps say. they made me laugh, I think the heart will work fabulous with wood grain or bark for a background.

I LOVE the IO stamps...need to get me some of those! Hey, all your gifts and purchases came at one time to combine to be a fantastic haul of stuff...so worth going on the trailer delivery!

Oooh Stacy, I love all your new stash! Isn't it fun, getting new things and bringing them home and sorting through them, and anticipating all the play time you are going to have! It gives you a real lift.

Thanks for your lovely comment, and I'm glad you liked the photo of Beatrice cuddling with my hubby! It's one of my favourite photos of them, and quite a characteristic attitude lol! They adore each other. Thanks for your good wishes too - I am enjoying this fortnight of respite and not allowing myself to worry too much until a bit nearer the event - plenty of time for that!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Wow! All that fun new stuff...whatever will you work on/play with first? Those funny bone stamps are definitely a hoot. Thanks for the visit earlier. You are right that Charles would gladly climb inside my LLJ tote bag but I have it zipped shut for now. Judy #67

Hey there Stacy, thanks for visiting with me. It looks like we might have been separated at birth when it comes to our mutual love of stencils. Wow. I just got Hot off the Press's Paper Dolls, watch for them soon. Great to meet you. I bet you live somewhere on the west coast, eh? I split my time between Tucson (now) and Ashland OR (April - Nov this year). Looking forward to you next WOYWW post.

Hi Stacy....so envious, wow what a fantastic stash, love those sentiment stamps too. Thanks for visiting my desk, I'm doing pretty well drinking lots more water - my plan is if I want a cuppa, tea or coffee, I have to drink a full glass of water before...so now I'm always running to the loo. Hope you get time to play with your new stash Cheers RobynO#25

I have flicked backwards and forwards checking out your new stash and what a pleasure it has been, can I come at play at your house. Please I promise to behave myself....

Love the stamps and the die's but those stencils are great, I especially was interested in the one on the left Ronda's Fragments this would be great layered with gelli plate prints. Oh and Steampunk Gelatos didn't know they existed and I just got a big set of Gelatos last week. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week crafting. Oh and the temperature of 30 degrees here means it is about 90 I think where you are, nice and warm. Thanks for dropping by my place earlier.
