More from Last week

On Saturday I managed an mostly cream on cream card for Lee's VSN challenge after all. I had it stuck in my head it "had to have" lumpy flowers on the card ( because, that's the mood going on here at the moment right) and my storebought flowers all have green leaves on them, so when I was doing the Inspiration challenge I came across a card Kittie made where of course she made her own beautiful roses and somewhere in the past I had picked up that die she used ( because, I've seen her too too many cool things with it) so, I was able to make those flowers my self. go me, the flowers took more time than the whole rest of the card so, one one hand its a cool die to own but, it wont stop me from buying store bought flowers either.

The half a doily is an left over from the last paperbag card, the basket was cut when I was doing Jen's diecuts and the lace is vintage, its machine stitched to that stamped linen panel. the bow came in a tackle box of ribbon bows and flowers I bought at a yard sale years ago ( no mfg info) I think that sentiment is from teeny tiny wishes. this one is 5 1/2" square in real life.

The saturday Inspiration challenge took us to this site called packaging of the world and I had come across this and LOVED IT, every detail... so, trying for the graphic-coolness with some CAS this is what I came up with that measure tape is vintage, the button does not have the vintage weight to it, may be a craft button. the sewing machine is one of those Tim Holtz blueprints ones. the sentiment's from Gina K's sew pretty. this one is 5" square in real life.

So speaking of vintage and treasure hunting, I doubt if anything here besides the roadrunner pin is truly vintage but, I came across these at a yard sale this morning and picked up this pile for 5.00 so, it wont hurt my feelings to discombobulate them and use them on something ( I think ) I still have that pack of fake Cameo's from that french laundry line that came out a few years ago still sitting on the desk haha.

was just tossed together, the train ( Tim Holtz) was stamped with Memento and colored very slightly with copic's and prisma pencils. the ribbon is from Micheals a very long time ago and the printed paper is from Simple stories.

Last weeks sketch challenge kinda looked like this. the Giraffe's are from Great Impressions colored with copic's and prisma pencils. the on my mind is from MFT and the Love is from Stampendous.

used up another of these blue flowers so there is still one in the pile waiting its turn. lace is vintage, sentiment is from Northwoods. (that white washed flower is from Impress)
