Today's learn a new technique challenge was to give this no line piercing a try. I have been meaning to do this since I seen Dina make this tutorial but, its just one of those thing you have more ideas than you have time to do them all so, it was a cool reminder to see this again this morning and I decided to give it a whirl after work today. This butterfly is colored with an aqua brush and the ink in the lid of the soft sky, blue bayou & river rock dye pads. the center bug body part has a tiny bit of Eucalyptus stickles in the center.
This is actually 6" square in real life, the piercing just seemed to call for stitching so, both panels were run through the sewing machine and the center part is up on pop dots. these blooms are wild orchid crafts ones with some Cheery lynn flourish diecuts done in that new pistachio green. That butterfly stamp is an really old one from old towne crafts. The sentiment is from Unity empowered words by Donna Downey. Its cut with an Nellie Snellen's tags# 3 multi frame die set ( and that is either the largest die in that set or the second largest die. they are tiny little dies) (good for sentiments)
