Saturday's Cards

This one is 5 1/2" square in real life the base is stardream opal so its shimmer and all the other layers are very vanilla. the sentiment is SU but I have no idea which set it came from. its cut with an labels trio die from spellbinders. the carriage is from tattered lace, the square mat/frame under it is from joy crafts, the carriage had to be cut with the wax paper and the metal shim from cheerylynn to cut out all the way there are pop dots between all the layers the big dot embossing was done with an Cuttlebug folder and there is a bit of bisque liquid pearls on this. the lace is vintage and the ribbon is unknown.

The dangerous thing about living an hour and an half east of Frantic Stamper is I know if I place an order I will have it the day after it ships. so, since I finished that 100 things round one last weekend I did place an order for more frilly dies since the wax paper trick is working. this umbrella is one of them, its cut in blushing bride and its from Marianne design, This one is 5X7 in real life.

I have to find the case that this very vanilla diecut came from, its something from before when I went through cutting the ones I have with wax paper, its up on pop dots, shot this angle shot because the straight head on one is so flat looking as a mugshot. the sequins and seed beads are unknown and on here with some diamond glaze, the photo corners are from Heidi Swapp. the stripe pp is Basic grey. The sentiment is from Hero Arts done on a scrap that went through an PTI double ended banners die that I snipped off the left side so it could tuck it under the handle.

There is a VSN going on now at SplitCoastStampers, you can read about this first challenge from Brenda here. ( its to do an "weather" play on words) so, this is an tiny A-2 sized card with 9 scrap flat bottom clouds cut ( my favorite things die) the cloud number nine was an large cloud that got trimmed and inked with some gray whale chalk on the edge and the cloud 9 is from the MM magenetic letters set CK stenography. the ribbon is unknown and the base is bazzill. the white clouds with the dots are old old paper from before people owned embossing folders and I added some stardust stickles to the dots on those ones.

This one was done for the second VSN mini challenge from Theresa, ( there are only 2 this week) this one was to do something that floats so I was going to do a floating mouse on the water ( which is an alcohol inks background on glossy cardstock) but, ( that stamp is hiding) and I was thinking that later I thought I read it had to float in the air so, I just grabbed this Stampington & Co. scripted butterfly because, it has not seen ink in a while. its heat embossed with ranger superfine detail black and the edges of that panel were cut with pinking shears. the fancy pants paper under that was run through an cuttlebug folder and the paper under that is from websters pages. the sheer dot ribbon is unknown but, most likely May Arts. the flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts and the base is PTI smokey Grey. and this card forces me to re-order clear boxes for lumpy cards haha. used the last one up on the carriage card.
remember the VSN has a whole week to get your cards in and they are randomly giving away fanclub membership / or extensions from each challenge I believe. :)

All these are fabulous. You are making me rethink the frilly die thing. Frilly just isn't really my style but you make it look SO GOOD!
