Last Weekends Projects

This was done for this week's featured stamper challenge on splitcoast. And the card I chose from Patty's gallery I have both favorited there and Pinned on pinterest. ( this card ) and the changes I made are Its been enlarged to 5X7. changed the embossing folder. the making it a large size had too much green showing so added a second cream layer of embossed cardstock in there to break up the color. on my version I have also changed the printed paper to vintage lace. and the theme to Christmas. this tree is from the Lovely as a tree set. and I had to laugh at my self sorting through the Christmas cards going to the booth this week as this must be the year of the tree... lol I think last year was the year of the Santa. (and I bought even more Santa stamps this year but...) those are not being made into anything for this years booth. The sentiment's from justrite stampers. ribbons from Joanns, the embossing folder is from crafters concepts. (secret garden) the colors are Neenah classic cream with Always Artichoke.

So before I stamped the diecut in the card above I tested this color of memento ink ( toffee crunch) on a scrap to see if it would work... ( with the versafine ) and when I went up to clean up the mess. and trust me after HYCCT and the VSN mini and all the tags I made last week the mess is almost unbearable so a huge cleaning and purging is coming on shortly. but, anyways tossed this together because, there was nothing wrong with the tree in this color. and it went together fairly quick because, this ribbon scrap was on the table. this sentiment was already stamped and die cut. the papers the red is from MME and the dots are from theresa collins. This one's 6" in real life.

tried this Saturday Am because, this snowman was out dirty on the table from the days before ( soot stamped it ) and sprayed the vintage lace with some pale blue tattered angels spray. the ink on this is Ranger Stream with an white gel pen and some seambinding. ( number 8 sized shipping tag previously stained with ranger tea dye)
