VSN Spring :)

"a little bird told me" ( inside is a pop up card) done for Linsey's challenge. I've never made one of these before after looking at the tutorial decided to go with the three folded scrap "hinge" style on the inside so this card started with the inside and just tossed this outside together to "go with" it. tfl, & thanks for this challenge Linsey! this is 5" square in real life.
This was done for Linsey's pop up card challenge. the card measures 5" square. had this previously diecut/ inked nested bird die and woodland branch diecut in my images to do something with tin. ( as was the cream frame die cut) and the oval kraft die cut. lol so this actually went together pretty quick on the inside. the pop up is a folded scrap hinge style piece. the birds eye is a chocolate pearl, the chocolate ribbon's from SU the threads may arts. tfl & thanks for this challenge. Depending on how you view this card the pop up fold is the same soft sky printed paper so it blends and its almost like the bird and branch are floating...
That metal jewel is vintage from an estate sale that they wanted a whole .05 cents for it, when I picked it up I had thought it was going to be a loose stray earring. I snipped the pointed part of it off the back with wire cutters a bit after I poked it through all the layers because the post was a bit too long. So, Ive had these Our Daily Bread snow stamps a long time and decided to get them inky for Lee's blizzard challenge. Its still snowing off and on here in Or also.
the snow background was heat embossed onto Gina K kraft and the snowflake was done on PTI cardstock vellum. The pink vintage pin was found at a yard sale a couple of weeks ago. this is 6" square in real life. tfl & Thanks for this challenge Lee!
This is my very first "steampunk" themed stamp, and she was colored a while back with copic markers. Die cut with an spellbinders die. the edges were inked with chalk ink. the ticket strip is printed paper. the tiny metal watch sprockets came in an viva las vegas grab bag. (they are on the round tag) this is 6" square in real life.
I am a very first time VSN host this round with this Steampunk themed challenge!
A closer look at the watch parts on the round tag.

Had a tiny piece of this lace left over when this was cut for the card front so used it as part of the "pop dot" on the back side of the sentiment panel...
This was done for Lisa's sympathy/encouragement challenge. the sentiment's from Wordsworth die cut with a spellbinders die. edges are inked with creamy brown chalk. the center of the sentiment (top) on the back side has the snip of too small to use vintage lace. ( pop dots on the edges) the buttons are probably from joanns fabrics the busy pp is basic grey and the grid is unknown. this is 5 1/2" square in real life, tfl & Thanks for this challenge Lisa
Colored the plastic hearts and the edges of the metal rimmed tag with an krylon shimmery red leafing pen.
This was done for Brenda's something that flies challenge. the little cardinal is a craft store button. Just got this vintage birdcage die in the mail and had to play with it. lol, the seambinding was cut in half up the center length wise to shread to that floofy stuff. the new home sentiment is from Impression Obsession, the for you is from SU. this was mostly done with scraps but the green was an large enough piece to have mfg info on back. this is 5" square in real life, tfl & Thanks for this challenge Brenda!

This one's A-6 in real life, thanks for this challenge! & tfl. These I suspect were done by hand with die cuts of felt, but they were given to me as a gift and I don't have any details about the blooms or leaves. ( I added the pearls to the centers)
When I seen that Michele had an rolled flower challenge I remembered I had these felt flowers and leaves that were gifted to me a very long time ago that I have been hoarding. I think they were made with a die of some kind but, not sure which one. I added the martha Stewart pearls to the centers. the base is an Sizzix die, the white is a Spellbinders die ( as is the tag) tfl & Thanks for this challenge Michele.
This Impress open poppy was heat embossed with ranger turquoise powder on PTI kraft. ( this curled a bit so both insides are lined) This was done for Jimmi's spring fever challenge. the sentiments from Impression Obsession die cut with an Memory box primo label die. this is 5" square in real life, tfl & Thanks for this challenge Jimmi
That is that skinny green sheer ribbon in the SU celebrations gift book at the moment, Leigh Anne sent this to me ( Thanks Chickie!) and I curled it around my closed pair of scissors the same way you'd do that paper curling ribbon... but, if you do it too many times it will shread and fall apart. {ask me how I know that eh?} ;)
This was done for Leslie's add an spring/curling element to your project challenge. this is 4" square in real life, tfl. and Thanks for this challenge Leslie!
I got lucky and found this High Hopes image in the colored images tin, this was done for Peggys poem challenge and one of the inspiration items was bumblebees. ( which is not something I would have many of so I had to laugh when I found this one) colored with copic markers, die cut with a spellbinders die. the sentiments on a scrap and I cant think of who makes it off hand. this is 5 1/2" square in real life. tfl & Thanks for this challenge Peggy! lol this was done for Lynn's at the hop ( critter that hops ) challenge. Whippersnapper stamps, colored with copic markers. all paper is from the scrap bin ( unknown ) many many die cuts. this ones 5 1/2" square in real life, there is a layer of pop dots between the lace circle mat and the bunny image panel. tfl. & Thanks for this challenge Lynn

This was done for Michelle's use hearts or love on your card challenge. the SU soft swirls background was heat embossed with gold on red cs. ( years ago from the tin) the Heart love you pp die cut was done with an justrite spellbinders charm die. the ric rac is vintage. the puffy heart is from MM, the U is an nailhead that I smooshed the prongs into it self on the back and attatched it with lots of glue dots to the pp. ( the nail heads almost always rip on me trying to hammer them to paper) the card base is an gold shimmer bazzill. the photo corners are from Heidi Swapp, the love you pp is unknown ( scrap bin ) this is 4 1/2" square in real life. tfl & thanks for this challenge Michelle!
