This weekends cards

The gingham pp is from My Minds Eye, the Floral/Heart is from Heidi Grace, the Penny Black cupid at work was an PIF image from Stampin'Gram (Thanks Joan!) the mats ruby red cs. The sentiments from Hampton Arts, these were die cut with Petite Ovals and are up on popdots, the lace is Vintage. this is 5X7 in real life. The Amanda Shines is an PIF image from the Paperbug ( Thanks! Rebecca) it's colored with prisma pencils and the mirror is an gellyroll glaze pen, the pale blue cs is unknown, the paisley pp is from Daisy D's the cardbase is not quite navy the ribbons unknown (quite possibly either Offray or Wrights) i think i got it a few years back at the bolt counter in town. this one's 5 1/2" square. Do you remember learing to draw house's and yards and tree's when you were a little kid?
with crayons of course, that is what my mind flashed to when i seen these owls for the first time, I actually resisted buying them for a few days... but, when i was little and I drew an house scene, my mom taught me to draw a hole into the tree trunk she would say this is where the birds live... and i thought oh how perfect when i seen this stamp. I dont consider myself much of an owl fan, (*gasp* i know i know ) they have been so dang popular the last little while its kind of a surprise anyone's still making owls... ( yes i am rolling my eyes over that) but, its what i really think so.
The owls are from the new Unity Stamps set called lollipop you and me, stamped with Cocoa Memento on SU Kraft then die cut, the sentiments from SU the green double sided cs is a scrap of Neenah, the cardbase is (i forgot already) the grosgrain ribbon is from an SU share at scs (last year or the year before) not sure on the name of it. the mini brads are from Bazzill, this ones an A-2 sized card. (ha! and you didn't think i could do one this size...) This is the 6th Holiday card for January so far, The toasty treats from Impression Obsession is colored with pencils and die cut, this and its mat are up on pop dots. the Red cardstock was run through an Candy Cane Stripes cuttlebug folder. the stripe/green pp is (double sided) from Fancy Pants. the ribbons from May arts.
Now this is something i took as a challenge, Dorthy sent me an "thank you" special weekly rak envleope that contained some ribbons, trims, cuttlebug embossed sheets, 3 images and pp sheet. and the note ended with something to the effect of " I dare you to use these things to use these things to create a card (soon) Well, this just came in the mail last week sometime so i suppose soon is still in effect, Dorthy's note says this pp is either from costco or dcwv, the embossed cardstock was done in an Victoria folder and i added some Pale Plum ink to the tops of it, the sick in bed moose i colored with copic markers, then die cut it and one of the pp with an labels die, now the ribbon and the cardbase are from my room best guess on the ribbon is Offray and cs is most likely Neenah or Bazzill. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of Mellow moss and punched it with a word window punch. the gold thread is the more recent (elastic-y kind) this is 6" square in real life. now this was shot, having camera issues... blurry on the edges, wrong lense ( 50mm fixed focal length) but, it went out in the mail right after this so. (cant re-shoot it) the Unity row of houses is from the Hodge Podge of Happiness kit ( this is the kit people at scs got to vote on images for which ones would be included in the kit) the sentiments from A Muse, the ribbons (unknown) the PP is from Basic Grey. the cardbase is PTI spring moss.
I'm having some focal point issue's ever since i started shooting the cards inside the light tent. and i think its partially an light issue, even though Tim says the focus has nothing to do with the light, during the afternoon when the light is brightest i can get better shots then too early in the morning or too late in the afternoon. been changing lenses and re-shooting and re-shooting. this is very annoying. but, the light tents too big to put on the table and shoot under the ott lights.
