A very Sad day here

If you've been reading this blog for a while you know our fur baby Slick (a female black lab) was diagnosed with cancer in Feb. She stopped being able to eat last friday and this morning I held her while they put her to sleep. It happened very quickly. surprised me, she was gone before the whole syringe was empty. I know that she is in a better place. but, the grief is still overwhelming and I have been grieving for her since she was diagnosed. Anyways, I decided I would post this because then for the next little while maybe there will not be casual How is Slick doing questions from people. I'm also not going to work tomorrow.
