WOYWW #313 Home again

I don't have a desk view this week. last week we had spend the week in VA Beach/Norfolk/Williamsburg and I had no clue how to do a blog post from my phone.  If this is your first visit on a Wednesday and you want to know why there is not a card in view you can check out our hostess Julia's blog here for more info on how you can play along.
this was taken on the steps outside one of the stores in Williamsburg, Jamestown settlement the title of that building was "Craft House" which was just too funny. It actually sells house wares like china and linens and such.

But while were there a couple of the chatboxchicks Suzanne & Janice from splitcoaststampers drove down on sunday and we went to lunch and into 4 craft stores.

... so, this is partially things that I had bought right before we left, things that came in the mail while were were gone and things that were smuggled home in the suitcases.

A lot of the metal things were gifts from Janice and luckily I woke up early on the day we were leaving and realized I better move them to the checked bags so they were not confiscated at the airport. which then made me wonder what they do with all those water bottles they collect all day and night? ( hoping they donate the dang things to shelters or something) anyone know? at any rate since we have been home I have done a few thank you cards and have been slowly putting these things away there was just too much to pile it on the desk and shoot. so, at this point this morning the table is cleared and there is a much smaller pile on the desk. will do a different post with cards and vacation shots later. the internet is not being agreeable this am either. thanks for stopping by and happy Wednesday Deskers. :)

Well that was a worthwhile holiday I. Terms of stash! You do have a lot of metal now! I love the style of the Craft Store building, how genteel Williamsburg must be!

Look at all that new stash! How fun! Now I do wonder about all those water bottles? And nail clippers! Have you seen that spoof article about TSA and airport security? A real report shows that they miss stuff 95% of the time so the spoof article said from hence forth the TSA guys will just stand there and tell you that you could be doomed. LOL! Thanks for the visit earlier. I love those metal drawers! They look so industrial, like I stole them out of a government office. Judy #56

So glad you had a nice time away, Stacy - and what great stash you brought back to play with! Have fun with it. Thanks for your lovely comment, and I'm so glad you like my bee stamping on the fabric! It was quite experimental but I was pleased with how it turned out. I'm going to do some multi-coloured butterflies too, now I've got a good selection of archival ink colours.

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Stacy happy WOYWW - I know I'm late-ish but some days one has other things get in the way. I too had a weekend away and did a spot of shopping, but your stash looks fabulous - wish sometimes my budget stretch to include metal things...but I make do. Have a wonderful week Cheers RobynO#32
