WOYWW # 459 {nearly tidy}

Happy Desk Peeking day, if you'd like to play along and or see more spaces
 the link up starts here at our hostess Miss Julia's Blog.

I did spend some time cleaning on Sunday and did a featured stamper card and picked up the bulk of the mess that had been piled up these last few weeks. I haven't made anything since. our dog Grace had a golf ball sized lump under her eye and I took her into the vets monday for antibiotic's thinking sinus infection and the Vet was pretty sure it was an abscessed tooth root and so tuesday she had Xrays and two teeth pulled. ( she is pretty perky this morning) so, hopefully things will start to slide back into what is our regular new normal. that empty nest thing. I have not really played with any of the new stuff I flashed at you a while back and am hoping to start doing that soon.

While our son was home he picked up a new (used) truck here and its sitting by the barn waiting on the auto transport company to be making the trip across the country with it. ( this saved thousands of dollars over buying the same truck near where he is stationed) and that is about it for me. Thanks for stopping by. :)

I am not doing too much crafting, but hope to today. I want to do the FS Card. Great savings for your son! Happy WOYWW! #35

Hi Stacy, hope your dog is back to full health shortly and that losing the teeth has done the trick. Glad your son made such a saving by buying a truck close to home, it looks a useful beast. Happy WOYWW Sarah #12

Those sort of trucks have become really popular here in the UK as well - well done to your son for getting it cheaper near you! I'm pleased to hear that your dog is feeling better as well, these pets make us worry don't they?!

Sounds like life is busy. I'm glad your poor dog got his toothache sorted.
It's always good when you can save money on new cars isn't it, well done to your Son for sniffing out a good deal. Hope he enjoys it when it arrives.
Happy WOYWW

Well, that's quite a tidy desk, Stacy, but I'm sure glad you pooch is feeling better now. So bad when they don't feel good! And woohoo on the savings for the truck! Such a nice photo, and I know you are loving having him home!! Hugs!

Dogs seem to be much better than people at getting over their health problems. We had an old dog some years ago that had several teeth out and the following day when we brought him back from the vet he tucked into his food as though he hadn't had anything done. Nice tidy desk. Hope your son enjoys the new motor. Thanks for the visit to mine and happy creative woyww, Angela x17x

Evening Stacy. Great looking van - love it! Good bargain too, obviously... Glad your dog is feeling perky. Hope all goes well with the recovery. Hope you get to some crafting soon, too.
Take care. God bless.

Ooh err, love a pic of a young man in front of big wheels! So much expense involved in being mobile isn’t there. I had trouble with the height of these trucks when we were in Idaho last summer. Lots of jokes about short women needing a leg up!! Your desk looks poised and ready...I can feel the anticipation, specially knowing you’re thinking of playing with the new stuff!

Hi Stacy, your desk looks very inviting! Glad your dog is on the mend! Congrats to your sun, very nice truck. I have two military kids and they do stuff like this too! Have a great weekend, Ginny M #29

Great looking desk Stacy! I can empathize with the empty nest thing...many years of it now and I am still missing the kids from time to time and happy they aren't here for others! My son is in the military and we shipped a couple cars over for him. It is ridiculous how much they can sell the old used cars for overseas when they come back to the states. Spending Saturday having a look around blogs! Have a great week! Vickie #6
