WOYWW # 408

Happy Desk Peeking day, if you'd like to play along with us the link up starts

well, let's see. on Monday there was a no line coloring challenge at scs and I had stamped off a couple pairs of combat boots thinking that would go quick and I have since decided that no line coloring really is intended for coloring living things, not detailed objects by me anyways. so, that is what was left behind on the back of the main table. In front of that is an emma background from Simon Says Stamp and a Club scrap oopsie daisy image that have started being colored with some derwent /prisma watercolor pencils. I had done a couple more of the emma backgrounds after the boots and before this plum version and they go carried around to the maybe they will make in into something section haha.

The coffee filters are still off to the side, I did die cut some into tag shapes ( it gets flimsier after that) it almost has a mulberry paper type feel to it so, die cutting it really weakened the stiff effect that the dried coffee has on it. I did try stamping some coffee cup on it with the oxide ink thinking it would look vibrant on it and then without thinking decided to color it with water hahahaha... ( it bled out) and then I stamped on it with versafine and colored it with some oxide ink, distress ink and glitter pen and it ( needs a blotter ) lol ( evidence of the pink flower was left behind on the grid paper) So, that's about it for me I am mostly coloring things right now.

Had to look up "no line coloring"! I had never heard of it before, but now I understand what it is. I don't see why it would matter if it were living or not. I would say try again and see if you can get it to work! Have fun playing! Thanks for sharing, Lindart, #35

Sounds like you had fun trying new ideas, even if they didn't all turn out the way you originally planned. Sarah #13

Stacy, there's nothing more fun than experimenting and just playing, is there! Those designs in your last photo are simply stunning - I adore the colours and the vibrancy of them against the coloured paper. Thank you for your visit and I'm glad you like the result of my playing, too!

Happy belated WOYWW,
