Coffee to-go giftcard holders

Recently the weekly tutorial at Splitcoast Dina shared this so cool coffee to go cup gift card holders. ( and I loved these) and I thought oh my gosh that looks like a pain but, I really love these... so, I thought OK lets give it a whirl... and I started with watching the video. I did not read the directions just skimmed for the measure here and score there parts. So, the funny part to me when I started this one was I am sitting here trying to cut these angles where I marked them holding the paper out in the air off the gullotine and then I started laughing... because, I figured it out. ( Dina must be left handed)
and then things went much smoother when I figured out where to put my hands for marking things and lining up the cuts...

A peek in the inside, so this card holder space slides up and down free moving which is So COOL. and I thought well you survived this and people would really like these I think so, lets make some more.. so I started cutting base pieces and ended up stopping at 10 more.

So, all 11 cards took about 6 hours I guess. I am not that fast, and the older I get the slower it goes. part of the problem is it was a rainy dark day here today so, I had 4 lights shining on the table during this batch of cardmaking.
wanting to use some new and old Christmas papers thinking gift ideas here this raindeer paper is from echo park.

So, I had bought some echo park papers a while back and while i was pushing those around I seen the newest wood ornaments and Micheal's that followed me home and they didn't look so great as neekid wood with the blues paper so, I painted them white and sprinkled on glitter. (and ended up doing one whole package of them because, glitter is the biggest mess ever) PS don't ever lay one of these paints on their side...

Now this one ( echo park papers) the sentiment is from lawn fawn's baah humbug set and the stitched snow is from lil inkers... and then I got the idea that maybe I should use more of those wooden snowflakes I picked up at M's on saturday. ( found some larger ones this time around) and the neekid wood looked funny thought ok lets paint it to match the paper and add some bling.. that was fun. ( ha ) the first white paint I grabbed I cut it out of the clear packaging... it had turned into a solid. okay tossed that bottle. found an open one from ranger that had a dauber and it worked so, then I layed it on its side to shoot a photo for a friend and when I picked it up I had white paint all over the place so, I unscrewed the lid... then I was cleaning this up with a baby wipe to screw the lid back on and you guessed it, turned my wrist to wipe the other side and poured white paint all over. yeah, so. since I now had a huge mess going on. ( its been one of those weekends) I decided I should do more snow just like this so, I don't have to break out the glitter again for a while ( I hope) hahaha...

My all time favorite Unity Stamps Christmas sentiment

the snow on this one originally was on a wooden mini clothes pin. ( and they pop off those really easy) so, this one I added a pearl to that.

This plaid is from photoplay and that sentiment, the font looks like an Ali Edwards handwriting so, might be an Technique tuesday set.

This one that paper is basic grey and that sentiment is from My Favorite things.

I cannot remember who makes this sentiment, and I kept thinking it was going to be a clear stamp so, I searched and searched ( that section of the stash) anyone recognize it? the gingham print is bo bunny.

This one that plaid is Authentique and the sentiment is hero arts.

This one the sentiment is also hero arts. ( the snowflake paper was a scrap )

The sentiment is Impression Obsession and the texture is some old Provo craft stuff. with a spellbinders labels die.

I think this one turned out to be my favorite. the sentiment is Impression Obsession, cut with a mama elephant slim tags die the lace is vintage.
