A Catch-Up Post...

Taken sometime last saturday evening... second round of tag cards needing fibers in the holes with previously stamped and diecut sentiments. I don't know why but the first photo in every blog post does not seem to want to enlarge when its clicked on like the others do that follow it. ( is it just me or does that happen to everyone?)

The first one, that yellowish orange scrap is from the no wrinkle distress background I did for Angie's challenge. the sentiment is IO. this is a sizzix tag die that cuts this from a piece 8 1/2" long by about 3 inches wide ( the cut cardstock I lay on the die is about that big I mean so, this is slightly smaller after being cut)
using up scraps and making simple things for the booth. the edges around the words were colored with an marker.

this pair is one layer with the black on cream. and as much as I like these simple styles, they do not really sell very well for me people seem drawn to things with many layers.

the heart was done a really long time ago there are some liquid pearls on it. the sentiment on that one is from Simon Says Stamp, the one on the right the sentiment is from Riley & Co.

these are lawn fawn stitched tags with hero arts (cut away) tags over the top of them. that deck the halls came with this die ( along with a few other single line sentiments that fit into this space) and the felt snowflake is something generic I found in medford a few weeks ago. ( supposedly to decorate a tree with I guess, the gal in the craft shop was surprised when I told her I was going to glue them on cards or tags haha.
(so, she was planning on moving them in the store to the paper crafting section because, no one was buying them for ornaments)
So, these are just the lawn fawn tags with either wood snow flakes or the felt snowflakes on them. pretty simple and no words.

Now this, was taken early Saturday am... and this is happy mail that arrived last friday on my birthday. so far in this pile I have played with the tag die, some of the Tim holtz papers and the verve happy birthday sentiment.

This was done because, ( I need more birthday cards) and I found this die in the package (not played with yet) in my scrap pile on my desk... so, Its a sizzix die and the metal cake charm is an older one from making memories. this was mostly done from scraps on the table.

This mouse came to me via wish rak a million years ago ( and I no longer remember who sent it sorry) but, it was colored with prisma pencils and that sentiment is from Verve Stamps.
the ribbon was an recent Micheals find. ( they had their halloween and fall on 80% off clearance on Sunday and hubs "needed" to go into sportsmans warehouse ( which is two doors down in that same shopping center from M's lol) so, I went along for the ride and picked up some leaves and ribbons for dirt cheap. the neat thing about the ribbon is it is very soft and not at all scratchy like you would expect eyeballing that texture weave to it.
so, this was taken on monday ( the 50 cards I sent to MD anderson.)

and this view was taken really early Tuesday am because, the shot above does not really do it for the WOW factor of what 50 cards really looks like.
