Button Card Gift Tags

Okay it looks like the click the photo for a larger view is working YAY :)

This is the first actual post I am making on the new google+ style blogs, so far so good. had a few funny  moments while the photos were loading because they were huge. like you could see 2 butterflies in the box where the photos and words go huge. This was just some messing around stuff to see what the stamps looked like and tossed these together with die cuts made from scraps. It gives me more ideas for things to make in the future ( on purpose ) I guess you could say. I'm trying to decide how much to embellish these tags because the first one I made ( at the bottom of this post ) I did for a gift sack wrapping decoration. and then these, I think I don't have a plan for them yet. ( to go onto card fronts or be gift tags) so, I did not add any ribbons or fibers to the "tag's" and I'm trying to decide if this is "good enough" or if they were going to become gift wrap tags then add the ribbons later. I guess what I want to know is if they look neekid like this?

used both vintage and craft buttons on these. the stamp set is from Papertrey Ink called button boutique. and then there is a few other odd sentiments added from the die cuts pre stamped pile ( happy anniversary A Muse ) but, for the most part they are on the generic side.

a down looking shot at all of them

the two butterflies on the outside edges of this one are ones from the melted pearls baggie.
the small butterfly strips are scraps of some printed paper. (have to find it to remember who makes it but guess would be MME)

 Just some different views

I started out trying to make them a coordinated "set" with the scraps and then realized I had not enough of the similar colors stamped and or die cut which is how the ones above this row look so different.

this is an glassine envelope with a piece of printed paper in it ( for a liner ) and then the doily on the front is an tear drop edge circle diecut from a spellbinders die. the tag on the front was stamped with the PTI set on a shipping tag that had a green re-inforcer on the circle, tried coloring it with copic's which failed so ended up finding the krylon gold leafing pen would cover up the green. the butterfly die cut was done on a scrap of MM pp. the red string came tied to an etsy purchase. the cherry cobbler seam binding was rak'd to me from Leigh Anne, ( Thanks :) ) the ric rac is vintage. the button on the butterfly is a craft store one. so this is the "wrapper" for that wood butterfly going in June's Easter basket.

the wood butterfly is from Kaiserkraft.

I think the printed paper tucked in the envelope is from KaiserKraft. The tag will remove from the envelope because, the clothes pin is all that is holding it on.
