So poking around on pinterest one day came across this
spool template to print, (free) on the sweetly scrapped blog and printed the spool pattern as an 4X6 photo on 80# coversheet and used that cut out as a template to draw and cut these spools you see. they were all stamped on both sides with the same background stamps in Vintage Sepia Versafine then inked all the edges in creamy brown fluid chalk ink.
they all have little over 1 Yard of either rayon seambinding (new) or ribbon (also new) wound on them. (its removable) The stamped button cards are from the PTI set called button boutique. this particular one above has basic grey buttons with various strings in them and its attached to the card with glue dots. the clothes pin is all that holds it to the spool. The printed
button cards below came from this link ( under the project at papercrafts inspiration online. I printed these on 80# neenah classic cream smooth coversheet.
So Ive stamped a mess of button cards and you'll most likely be seeing more of them sooner or later.
While I was messing around with the background stamps for the spools tossed this one together real quick with the SU linen, the Hero Arts stitched rectangle and the SU sentiment. the bow is an extra one that was laying on the table from the recent bow making adventures and then spied the heart button in the tin so it worked. that tape measure is from an vintage sewing tape measure box that was broken, so hubs got it open for me and Im using the tape as ribbon.
