Happy desk peeking day! if you'd like to play along with us,
So, on monday I struggled to complete some Easter cards very CAS ones ( see previous post for the close up shot) and went down for the count with a migraine. so, things have "piled" up.
( I am good today YAY maybe I will get something done after work)
anyways off to the left are some of the things used on the Easter cards and also some new things I wanted to stamp to color. ( there is a
30 day coloring challenge going on this month seen here. I don't make time every day but, I have colored more this month than I have all winter so, it has been a win for me that way. )
now then this is the what's coming next ( I think ) there is a
coffee lover's blog hop coming up at the end of this week. and last Saturday Audrie hosted an
Inspiration challenge that goes to a pinterest board of "
tea bag art" so, the art had been created on used tea bags... and I looked at that and thought hunh, how interesting is that, second thought was I have not had bagged tea in a long time. ( its a only when I am really sick and have a scratchy throat thing for me) and then I started thinking well what if you just rinsed off coffee filters and let them dry... and so I did, so Monday I had an email with the Verve sketch and I remembered I had this little set of stamps from them that I picked up during the last two or three coffee hops ( I lose track of the time) and thought what if... so, that's the plan. the other print out was the piece I was going to use to be "inspired" by from that challenge. the only thing is I am debating if I want to cut the filters into a tea bag "shape" or not lol.

So, off to the right I seen last weekend there is a VSN coming soon to SCS and one of the things on the "shopping list" is animal images and in my to be colored pile of images I hauled to work I have some Christmas/ Winter ones so, I did a couple of those with some limited supplies (to me 20 colors is extreme limited as far as choice goes)
Caran D'ache Luminance colored pencils. I will have to play with these some more, but so far so good. the lead is more sturdy than prisma pencils and I can get the cross hatching to actually show and what not but, I think that for me to do animal images I will most likely need way more colors. So, I am probably going to mix these pencils into the "general population" of my prisma's and such haha. oh, that pink marker is there because, I need to remember to buy a new one, its dry. so, that's about it for this morning. thanks for stopping by!
