Sunshine gifts

So, You may have remembered months ago there was a VSN challenge that was for "sunshine" boxes. ( where all the things inside the box are yellowish) and I loved that it totally caught my heart, and I knew that my friend at work loves yellow so, she was my first person to receive a bundle of yellow things. and I never got around to posting the photos because, once in a while she looks at this blog. ( so, those are the things under the card below) This sunflower was something I caught with my cell phone believe it or not that is a SOC shot with no filters. ( I tried to make it the banner photo at facebook a while ago but, it won't load) right before I hopped in the truck when we went camping a couple of weeks ago.

Now, this is a recent lets stamp it and see how they go thing (un-inked rubber)  the sentiments are from Club scrap ( which is rubber by the way so, what I am seeing when I line them up not being able to see through them its always a win when you can get two stamps straight haha) The green paper is crate paper and the gold is from K&Co.

This is a sizzix die that was used with some old Basic Grey print, the daisy is a martha stewart 3-d sticker.
So, the belly band slips off and inside it holds a 3" square post it note pad. the sentiment is from Savvy Stamps.
This one I did post at SCS a long time ago that was inspired by a beautiful one in Amber's gallery when she was featured stamper. the bloom is from Indigo blu color me daisy and the sentiment is from paper smooches happy trails set. The coloring was done with watercolor markers and prisma pencils. And it's only 3 1/2" square in real life.

Anyways, I have been thinking about doing more of this type of thing and the funny part is, I don't buy much yellow. So, I was really tickled to see that Joann's has their textured Core'dinations on sale this week. ( 5 for a dollar instead of .99 cents a sheet) guess you know where I am going after work today.

I don't tend to use yellow so much but these flowers are gorgeous, lovely and bright. They make really happy cards. Thanks for the visit to mine Stacy and have a great weekend, Angela x

Wow, you had me on the sunflower, Stacy! I LOVE them, and what an amazing shot! Yes, I don't use much yellow either, but I sure love what you've made, and how cool that Michaels has the paper on sale! Hugs, sweet friend!
