Sparkle toes

So, I had to do it you see... these stamps just looked like they were crying out to be paired up. The black sparkle heat embossing powder from ranger contains a lot of glitter so, as the powder melts the glitter is mostly contained where you stamped it. ( and any where else the fan blew it lol) because, these were done on a day when the AC and the cross room fan were going full bore. The shoes with stockings are from the Wicked Wear Accessories set and were stamped on the smooth back side of some orange bazzill and then the shoes were colored with some gel pens. These were cut out with scissors. The sentiment is from the Yes to Sprinkles 2 set and heat embossed to the the Neenah layer which was cut with an Lawn Fawn large square cross stitch die and matted with some shiny, silver cross hatch paper those layers are up on pop dots over the vintage glitter covered velvet ribbon. The sequins are from different companies. ( I sort things by color and some of these the largest one is very vintage) The base is textured bazzill and this one finished out at 5 1/2" square in real life.

Now, this the gift sack is a little larger than the pair below. but, it is also from Micheal's celebrate it line. this jar is the larger one in the set of two from the Mason Jars set. The shoes are from the Wicked Wear accessories set and the sentiment is also from the Yes to sprinkles 2 set. So, on this one the jar was originally stamped and heat embossed with the white powder onto one of the tiny sacks below but, I did not have room for that sentiment to fit onto that scale so, I just cut it out and moved it to the larger bag. The lid was heat embossed with liquid platinum powder on a scrap of pale gray cardstockto give it that galvanized look. I did punch the hole for the skinny satin ribbon to go through both the jumbo fishtail diecut (MFT) and the front of the sack to tie it on.

Because, when I heat emboss I always make a small stack of them since I know I will have to clean up the mess. It doesn't really matter how careful you are or if you use coffee filters to catch the powder, it always makes a mess in my room because it has carpet. that is like a murphy's law 101 right? and the glitter powder is just higher up the scale of "yes, its worth it in the end" but, do a few of them lol. ( that is how I think anyways) So, this pair of tags (Tim Holtz sizzix dies) were done on kraft cardstock and are single layer tags colored with gel pens. The ribbons are from May Arts and the sacks are 2 1/2" X 4" in real life. ( so big enough to hold say a "snack" sized candy and a gift card. ) Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check back after Labor day for the new release from Two Paper Diva's. ( I am going to be sharing some Christmas cards next week) :)
