WOYWW 264 Edition

Well, if your curious why the mess is on display head over to Julia's blog and check it out. you will find the links to find all the other desker's projects / or work spaces who are playing along this week there.

I have not created a thing in maybe 3 weeks now, that has not stopped me from shopping.

this is the haul from 3 different stores today. a few stencils, dies, embossing folders a couple stamps, foil sheets, a watercolor mixing pallet, think that's about it.

The Dylusions sprays I have never played with nor, the oil based water activated pastels so this will be something interesting to try. they were "pretty" colors compared to my regular water color crayons, I'm intending to use them the same way. not shown in these photos are some huge sheets of hot press watercolor paper to cut down and play with.

Now that is an oxymoron. Oil based water reactive crayons. Do show and tell how they work. Can't quite get my head round that! #13

What a delightful desk - can I come play?? I'm with Belinda - and think the idea of mixing oils and water is a non starter - BUT. Hubby does oil painting - and he has a whole colour range of water based oil paints. Makes cleaning the brushes MUCH easier!! Have fun trying everything.
Thanks for visiting and for your comments.

Well I think new stash is imperative if there's no time or inclination to play - it fires you up again. Must say the look of all the colour on your desk is lovely..and aren't stencils coming along in terms of design now...love that one with the text on.
