Stamps and Supplies need a new home

I will be listing these stamps for sale. with a link of how to make an offer to purchase them on the buy/sell thread of a popular stamping internet site.which can be viewed here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=385391 nitty gritty details will include things such as i only accept payment in U.S. Denominations. I prefer pay-pal (can accept any kind of pay-pal payment) but, will also accept US postal money orders if you are so inclined. ( i have found that personal checks do not do well takes a week to arrive, takes my bank 10 buisness days to clear it, then takes a nother week to get to the buyer so she's pretty crabby by then) so for both our happiness i will not accept personal checks as payment. sorry. Also, i dont have the free time to run every package to the post office to be weighed. I guestimate on a kitchen scale if you have one small stamp for first class, anything else will go flat rate priority mail with delivery confirmation. if you dont like that dont make an offer to buy. Postal insurance is an recommended / optional expense if you are so inclined. the U.S. postoffice will not insure packages leaving the country. yes i can ship world wide. These stamps are coming from a smoke free pet friendly studio. I have mostly kept the dogs from playing with my stamps however the hair sometimes does manage to find the packing tape (never fails is more like it) I am not a demo for any company just an collector whose room has hit capacity and will be adding additional items to the list as time permits.

late as usual *lately*

Jan gave me this as an blog award ( a while ago ) Thanks Jan! yep there have been others before this. just seems like there is never enough time to do all of these things... but, I really love one the way this particular one looks and two the thoughts behind it. I'm working on the trying to be a "better" blogging buddy again, but after so much time off it feels a little strange to go see what all is going on in everyone Else's lives that they post. I feel disconnected and am finding it much easier to just lurk. which is funny to me as i usually am not quiet.

interestingly enough i have noticed i find a lot of time to just think now that school is back in and especially during times i need to make the drive over the mountains and back to pick up dry ice for the shop. ( when i don't have time to write them down so i will remember them later)

I'm still *reading* the same Nora Roberts book on disc... today had to drive a non-driving welder out to do a field job and had time to listen to an entire disc at once. its not as much of a challenge as it was when i first got the CD player. the book is not word for word and sometimes it skips paragraphs (easy to pick up where they are again and sometimes it skips pages, not so easy, but, i am really hearing some of the words so the skimming and hunting is going faster that way. I find i sit in the living room at night and color or what not and if Tim is watching tv i can make out a lot of the words without looking at the closed captioning if its a man speaking. women are harder, i havent heard the high tones in so many years this is more work to figure out what those noises are...

J is the busiest he's ever been. mostly this is good, but it's a shock to him after having so much time on his hands over the summer to be doing so much more every day. (he's on the schools cross country team) which is hard and a challenge for him but, so far has had 3 races. think there are 4 more to go. the youth duck hunt is this next weekend.

did do some cards last weekend at Alice's stamp party and after but, all the photographs are in the other computer. so, will post them eventually i suppose. have a good what's left of the week!

scene it again?

I have come to the conclusion that markers are only for cute open space images for me... have stamped this scene 4 times now the first three were colored with copic and bic-mark it markers... all reside in the trash. this ones colored with prisma pencils (surprise surprise) i wish these came in more colors... large tree is from Coronado Island Stamping, deer, ducks in formation and pond are all from stampscapes, the pine tree row is from PSX, this is 5X7 in real life, mat is river rock cardstock and cardbase is always artichoke.
another simple one, I'm ready for fall. PSX harvest wagon colored with prisma pencils, mat is a scrap of river rock and the base is unknown. this ones 4 1/2" x 6 in real life.

Tails of true love

Thats the name of this house mouse image that i snagged PIF from scrapperwannabe (Thanks Misti!) thought it would make a cute Anniversary card. Tims parents celebrated their 49th yesterday. this is 5X7 in real life. tfl.

some from today

The name of this penny black kitty is "tulip jungle" its one i snagged from catcrazy (thanks Janice!) its colored with prisma pencils. the sentiment (smile) is from fancy flexible phrases, the stripe pp is from Me & My big ideas (which the name of that co. makes me smile whenever i come across it) this is 5 1/2" square in real life.
this is one of those stamps i "had to have" and have no memories of making something with it. ( I probably have but, cant find anythingt to link to so?) here's a new one. Images is from PSX, sentiments denami designs. stamped on stampin up very vanilla with India Ink Black, colored with pencils. the mat is really rust with versafine vintage sepia ink on the linen background stamp the ribbon i think is American Crafts and the cardbase is certainly celery.
just a quickie decided to color one of thes with Bic-mark its the other day. its stamped with India Ink Black on gp110. the sentiments from TAC, the wide peach organdy is unknown, the largest scallop circle was cut from a scrap of holly pond hill peach pp. the cardbase is Soft Sky ( I am gonna cry when i use the last piece of this)
this one the colors are butt ugly, such is life, i liked how the masking turned out with the extra flower pots along the bottom though so, didnt toss it, decided probably will donate it thought. stamps are from the su set called Friendship gardens.
just another quickie, I have started digging in my colored images tin to see if any of them look good on scraps when i cut into a 12 inch sheet so this is cutting down on the scraps to store quite a bit. ( this is a good thing when you have a hard time letting some things go) Sentiments from Memory box.
This is what i set out to do today, a card for William, it could be too old for him but, the moose(Coronado Island Stamping) is realistic. its 5 3/4" square in real life.

an uplifting occasion

I have wanted this penny black uplifting occasion since the first time i ever seen it, and yesterday i had happy mail via wish rak from AJITZI that was an envelope of these kitties... Thanks Mimi!! its colored with prisma pencils. the purple colormates cardstock is stamped with lavender lace with the cornish heritage farms fish stocking backgrounder and the lace is vintage from a yard sale grab bag ( have a handful of 7 inch long pieces lol) the pink pp is a a scrap of imaginisce paper and this is 6 inches square in real life. tfl.

Cards from the long weekend

This was done for a featured stamper challenge where you case a card from her gallery (Studbo) this is a PIF image and is 5X7 in real life.
another PIF image, sentiments from Eureka! stamps. background is Linen stamped with vintage sepia on hammermill 110. this one's a-2 in size.
Linen background stamped on hammermill 110 and soft sky cardstocks with vintage sepia ink. the birdy and sentiment are from The Angel Co. this one's 6 inches square in real life, ribbons Martha Stewart.
This is an PIF hedgie from AJITZI and the sentiments from A Muse, the ribbons May Arts. its 4 1/2 X6 in real life.
Your seeing a trend right? wanted to make a lot of cards in a short amount of time and got circles delivered in the mail lol... this frog ( I think of him as abaracadabara froggy) is also an PIF image and the sentiments from the dollar bin at M's (last year)
these are both from wish rak the image and sentiment. its headed to OCC so, its also signed inside.
Now this was put together for a Christmas card for a spouse challenge. Its 5X7 in real life. the sentiment tag is up on popdots. Stampa Rosa Silent mice from the house mouse line and the sentiments from Stampin' Up (All Holidays set)
nearly the same card, used a half sheet of pumpkin pie to randomly stamp the leaves on so there was enough for two small cards. the yellow satin ribbon came to me tied around rak images.
This was done for a "love" challenge, it is a rak image "feeling rosy" I recently won one of these (really cheap) and so i felt OK about coloring the 4 images i had left in the box lol...
simple card, its harder then it looks to sew in circles and ovals though.
same card different colors
and again
Im pretty sure this one was an PIF image too, but it has glitter on it so may end up in my own stash.
Jan sent me these images in that gorgeous tin and i sent this away late but, it should have arrived where it was going by now... (so maybe safe to post)
sentiments from Victorine Originals.
and its 5X7 also. tfl

First day of school

was yesterday and for the most part it went well, and after 4 shots did get one with a smile where you could see the eyes under the mop. (right before school ended last year he came home one day sweating and demanded a hair cut, then has spent the rest of the summer growing out his hair again)
Oh the drama of it all makes me laugh. and makes me grateful that at this point under the sarcasm he still talks to me. yep, still shocks me but I'm almost getting used to that one too...
on another note, I have let someone in charge know about what that gal did. and so I am letting it go. I don't want to be sick about this anymore so that has to be good enough.
Probably wont delete the blogs and galleries i have, if i did what leg would i have to stand on? and my blog has become the dumping ground for all the things i shoot that don't make it into all the sites galleries. ( that's a lot of time to post to them all so i don't its rather hit or miss anymore)
So have a good day, and pass it on. and thanks for your support!

A Little upset

for some time now i have been considering stopping posting Projects made by me online. mostly i take comments to personal. I would imagine most people who do create and share do. you savor the nice ones and so the not so nice ones tend to zing. recently there was a challenge weekend hosted on a large stamp board. ( and i played ) and to be nice i started leaving comments on cards others had created. and a not so funny thing happened. I found a card i made that i donate as a gift to someone in her galley as something she had made that weekend during the challenges as "something she had fun making" and the funny part is, I have that same exact card before i gave it away in my gallery in several sites along with this blog... nope I have not said a word to her, or to anyone else. and I have let it eat at me all weekend. I'm very aware that when you give something away they can do what they want with it. But, this really shocks me. I have never claimed something that was given to me as "mine" and that's the part that hurts. and so, then i got another comment that really bugged me on one of my challenge cards, and I have such a hard time following these directions for the challenge. the what makes them a challenge i guess. but, I also know the cards will be used by troops and that's the bottom line for me. So I made as many as i could the way i wanted to. and i feel like I have "had enough" and its time for a break I originally started this blog as a way for me to remember things. and That's not what it is anymore. so, I'm going to take some time off and just think about it before i delete the whole thing.
