the dirty girls have started a new round of challenges for the fan club this summer. ( I did a whole bunch of these last summer and had a blast) yesterday was the first day and after dinner last night i started on the first one. This one is to create something around a favorite piece of ribbon.(note if you are not a fan club member that link will not take you anywhere sorry) well, you may remember i have used this piece for inspiration before and never cut into it... its vintage from the embellishment studio and was offered after i let my membership go and Linda gifted this to me and it think its one of the most gorgeous pieces i have ever seen. and oh my gosh i actually cut into it.. ( still have a big piece left whew!) ;)
whole shebang, this card measures 5X7 in real life, cardbase is su kraft with the baroque motifs swirl stamped in fresco vatican wine chalk ink. Sentiments from Outlines. (and up on popdots) the pink cardstock is Papertrey Ink sweet blush, the burgundy textured cardstock is bazzill. the prima paper flowers have some PSX rose quartz glitter glue in the centers. ( yep, that bottle still works, before ranger made this (after PSX closed) they made the original bottles)
This was the last card i did on sunday night after it was too dark to photograph it, found it on the table last night and thought oh yeah, may as well shoot it too... the little butterfly hedgehog is the second Penny Black one i bought in the eBay auction with the daisy one.. this card is 4 1/2 x 6" in real life. the printed paper is creative imaginations, the plain stiff blue grosgrain is unknown, the patterned ribbon is American Crafts (it reverses the colors and patterns on the other side feels nice to touch too) the mini brads are from MM. the blue cardstocks are from the scrap bin and unknown.

Beautiful ribbon card! I can see why it was so hard to cut it - it's gorgeous.
LOVE all your stuff but this ribbon card is truly BEAUTIFUL! Pretty stuff there!
That first card is soooo gorgeous!! The second is nice too, that ribbon is the perfect piece for that card.
Love it!!
