Double takes
caardvarks challenge cards... these were done from scraps so that made it a little more of a challenge as once you make the first cut, your saving every tiny piece off the scraps hoping the supplies will stretch to a second card. you can see the details for this challenge here:
10 day 10 K double take.
This is the first card i did, the Penny Black flower is stamped with
versamark ink and then heat embossed in ranger lemon yellow. the Miss You sentiments from
Stampin'Up. (but don't ask me the set name) the double sided pp is from Signatures suite (my minds eye) so the stripe and the reddish color are from that. the piece of
card stock that has the sentiment and this flower stamped on it were shabby shutters foil transfer backgrounds that i ended up rubbing some greenish walnut ink tint on top of. The vellum has a yellowish tint to it and came in one of those mat pack things. The ribbons from May Arts, the brad is lasting impressions and the flower is from
Prima.
A closer look at card 2. the sentiment is arched over the flower image so its not flat.
Card two the flower is stamped and heat embossed on the vellum and then sewn to the green
card stock and has the edges pinking sheared. there is some vintage photo distress ink on the torn edges. this one is also 6X6.
