WOYWW # 397

Happy Desk Peeking day :) if you'd like to play along with us the link up starts here at our hostess Miss Julia's blog.
So, for Christmas this year besides the PSX stamps in the background I mostly received money and gift cards... So, this pile of loot on the left is part of an order from Amazon that has started to trickle in. ( the weather is bad so somethings are delayed ) the one farthest away reads... you know it was a good day when you didn't have to release the flying monkeys...

One thing I have done with this pad of grid paper I put on the table is, I have flipped it upside down so that the binding is near the edge of the table because, I tend to wear long sleeves ( esp. at this time of the year) and it seems like with the pages loose at the edge I was catching my sleeve on the paper every time I moved. so, it looks like its messy enough to be tossed already. ( once it gets pretty wrinkled I do take it off) was using it to clean off a water brush coloring some snowmen last weekend.

We might possibly be doing the last round of sanding in the living room tonight so, then it becomes me who gets to paint it. paint colors are picked but, not purchased and the hardwood floors are on order and so, by the time they arrive and are acclimated the paint should be dry. ( and then the work moves around the corner into the eat in part of the kitchen. )
so, as far as resolutions go, this is THE YEAR we finish remodeling this fixer house. :) we spent some time chatting with a kitchen designer over the weekend too so, that was fun. very preliminary but, I think I am going to get pretty much everything I want. (not everything ) but, the fun part is the guy actually had a suggestion we had not thought of we liked too so, that made it feel even better. so, I am excited about that part.

Hi Stacy, that is one bonus with talking to people in the trade, they have usually had to make all sorts of solutions for people, so have some good idea. Love the new stash! Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 xx

Oooh - I'm jealous! I wish I was getting a new kitchen! My kitchen is big, but only a very small part is actually usable for everyday cooking, most chopping etc has to be done on the stove top because that is where the best light is! Looking forward to seeing your new kitchen! Painting walls - fun to do and to see the nice freshly painted walls at the end. Have fun! Great stash on our desk - love the flying monkey one! Thanks for sharing, Lindart #39

I have a pad of paper under my glass mat and I think your idea of rotating it is brilliant.. I might pinch it! I also like the idea of grid paper underneath.. hmmmmm that's got me thinking too!

Enjoy your new toys.

Have a great week,

We have a lot of plans of what we want done with our house. Hopefully some of them will come about this year. Last year just seemed to fly by! I love your new goodies. The wizard stamp looks very cute. What kind is it?

Happy WOYWW

Hi Stacy. Sounds like fun in your home!! It's so good to be able to design a kitchen. Get things where you need them; have the fun of choosing what units.... lovely - and extremely creative!!! In the meantime - enjoy all those new goodies.
Take care. God bless.
