The Happiest

on Thursdays there is a challenge at Splitcoast called ways to use it, and the challenge this week is something new and something old and something borrowed and something blue... and I get emails from Amy and Katies blogs so, I had seen this color combo challenge from the heart desires on Wednesday night and remembered it. (that became my borrowed element)
The new is those bitty envelopes from Ellen Hutson, I had to have them a while back and they have never been cut so, I did trace some stardust gelly roll pen into the crevices to give them some depth.
The old is that heart diecut from lil' inkers. I had cut this like last January? from some hot pink watercolor paper scrap and to make it fit the challenge with that teeny pop of gold I covered it with some krylon gold leafing pen. That sentiment is from the Right at home happy mail #2 set and it was heat embossed with some Zing! (the color of the blue is "powder" haha) both the aqua shimmer paper and the navy paper are from Stardream and sometimes this photographs with a sparkle, and sometimes it photographs as dirty... ( it's really glimmery in real life) The inside has a Penny Black birthday sentiment inside and it finished out at A-2 in real life.

I love the snowman and that cake WOW fun mug shots for their challenge yes?
(and very different for me to play with, I never would have thought to add in the gold)
