Clean and SImple patches

It snowed here most of today... view out the laundry room window... This particular Cactus came to me from Ann O'Connell a couple of years ago, this is the first year it has bloomed. :) very very different flowers from my others was such a neat surprise. :) I spent a lot of time in my laundry room this weekend... Ironing... yep, got all the clothes cleaned etc too. (haha) but, was ironing fabric's and making fabric paper more or less to run through the dies to iron to cardstock. remembered i had this ladder from the booth and figured i don't need it for that again until next year so moved fabric to it after it was ironed. its fun to see it all at once. ( not sure how long i will leave it like this, not long enough to dust) SU sentiment 4X6 (old su cardstock don't remember its name they don't make it anymore) Sizzix Primitive Heart die, ( the red one) su sentiment that leather looking fabric actually feels 3-d to touch, the denim is something i had in my sewing box to patch Tim's jeans with... ( I haven't patched Jeans in years... ) (I'm wondering if J has out grown any jeans or if Tim has hole-ly ones i can discombobulate for more patches) ;)
Hero Arts Sentiment, Star was done with an Spellbinders die. I'm so very tempted to add buttons to these, but have left them all as CAS flat note cards for the moment. total count for the weekend is 23 cards done, but so far only 6 have been shot as it got dark before I was done ironing. Hero Arts sentiment. Tim Holtz tattered flowers die for the flower. this is an Nestibilities die, with these they do work with the fabric, but i found they cut better if you ran them back and forth through the bug 4 or 5 times before trying to lift. Cats life press sentiment. Impression Obsession Sentiment, Spellbinders Nestibility dies. Used pinking shears along the edges of this Heart after it had the ultra heat and bond fused to it. also tried punching it with punchies and that works too. ( will show ya later) :)
