Umbrella's { #701 }
this is the 701 th. post for this blog... who knew it would still interest me to post after all these years... of course there are a couple months to go to the blog 'versary... but, it still amuses me to share what I've been up to so here it is, the umbrella and boots have some diamond glaze on them, and the umbrella is paper pieced.
This cool doubled sided printed paper is from My Minds Eye's Quite Contrary line, the red is from Basic Grey and the pp scrap on the umbrella is (pink paislee) the ribbons from Wal-Mart, used an Spellbinders labels 11 and petite oval dies. It's 6 inches square in real life.
Done from scraps on the table, the inside is totally lined so it hides the corner stitching of the pp. Sentiment's from SU done in Versafine Toffee ink. That big big brad was salvaged from something Alice gave me a long time ago, the red elastic cord is unknown & vintage. It's 3 1/2" square in real life. Been playing with the white balance settings on the digital SLR and these were shot with an "daylight" setting ( don't remember which one ) but, the cards i shot yesterday with the tungsten did not turn out... (all the photography light bulbs i had are dead, so put some regular big flood lights into one of the light bar's and tried to guess on the settings) so, what ever is in these light bulbs just looks totally washed out in "auto white balance" and maybe even worse in tungsten... so eventually i will get it just right again ( probably right before these bulbs die) haha
