Saturdays Cards

been seeing butterflies alot the last couple of days from links from the cbc, and I was granting a wish the other day for Cuttlebug butterflies (which are smaller then this one)and i thought oh do some of this die too but, ended up just sending what she wished for due to technical difficulties. this is the bottom layer of the Quickutz butterfly run through the bug with the "Emily's bouquet" folder. the top layer of this particular die does not want to cut for me and so i have just had this laying on the table and thought hmmm,(was actually going to toss this in the scrap pile because the left top corner was nicked (cut it from scraps didnt see it wasnt all the way in the cut hole) that is the irritating thing about them, once you get use to using those open hole Nestibility dies these closed ones are like hmph. (plus most of the ones i have dont cut cardstock well either) The Hero Arts Silhouette grass is stamped with both Toffee and Spanish Moss versafine on Neenah. the velvet is unknown, the sentiments from that new su set punched with the matching punch. the green cardbase is Paper trey ink Spring Moss. This is almost 5X7 in real life. Just messing around had this piece of mellow moss on the table folded into a card shape for a few weeks now and ran it through the bug inside an sizzix argyle folder (and it felt incredibly thin when it came out) so both of the insides are lined with Neenah classic cream, the sentiments from Just Write stampers, its hard to tell in this shot but that mat is soft suede. and the hemming lace is vintage. this is 4" square in real life. An Wish Rak Image from the su set "farm fresh" the plaid pp is from My Minds Eye, the ribbons Martha Stewart. the brown cardstock is SU soft suede, the green texture is bazzill and the cream is Paper trey ink vintage cream. tiny brads are from recollections. this ones A-6 in real life also. from scraps, A-6 in real life. the shimmer is Stardream "mars" Sentiments from SU (many merry messages) and stamped with crimson red versafine. the gold sheer ribbon is just cheap stuff ( no name on it ) the chatterbox holiday fern pp is double sided, so the green is the back side of it. the cardbase is bazzill. before i had done the cards with holiday fern pp. ( see above) i had also pulled out this cut sheet of Chatterbox pp too. ( so there is more of this on the table) the sentiments were die cut with label nestibility dies. have 8 more of these done 4 were done with "J" on tags and 4 were done with "T" on the tags... basic grey double sided pp, assorted cardstocks. I had this "christmas Album" under construction in the closet for years now and i had cut down 12 X12 sheets to fit this 9" square album and i had this page protector full of red, yellow & green 3 inch strips in there and a boat load of this pp.... so, there will be more of these colors eventually. the small tag is SU and the larger one is Martha Stewart. the ribbons offray.
