so far today

The background stamp is from Judi-kins and the first time i seen the rubbernecker birch trees in a circle on Leigh Anne's PIF list i wondered how the two would look together... sentiments from SU all holidays. this is 5 X 7 inches in real life. cardbase is Sahara sand.
Just got this one in the mail last night. House Mouse "Christmas Tales" from Stampa Rosa. the Merry Christmas is from the SU set A Cardinal Christmas. the wall paper looking pp is from Foofala. this is 4 1/2X6 inches in real life.
Another PIF image, this ones from Penny Black called Snowy & Hedgie. Snagged these from Meg and had to do something with one right out of the envelope... hopefully the next one turns out a little better don't really like how it looks cut out on the blue... (then again i don't use blue much so that could be half of it) probably wrong colors...
A very long time ago i was part of an ATC swap where you mailed to each gal in the swap every month an ATC based on the theme, so i had stamped these cranes years ago for that... and found them in my images to be colored. ( i hardly ever throw anything away) so, i made a card (see previous post) with one colored with pencils but, it looked very faded so then i colored these with copic's & Bic Markers... the handmade papers from Provo craft. there are three landscape style ones and three portrait style ones. figured i would add a sentiment as i need to mail them out.
I received this set Stampin Up a cardinal Christmas as a thank-you gift from the ladies in the stamp shack for organizing color combo challenges last year and i got it all mounted and put together last night. this is going to be something fun to play with so, since this is a first card, got too much ink on the bird i guess, it lost some detailing over ones i stamped later with less ink... the image has some creamy Carmel ink sponged (rubbed) into the cardstock, the pp's are from Basic Grey. the lace is vintage from a yard sale this summer. may tie something dangly in the corner. (not sure yet) and its 6 inches square. this mornings fun thing, i went to walmart (early before the crowds got there) and I have finally found a cd that has music that a sounds like music, b i understand the words as they are being sung and i remember it whoo... I listened to this
George straight 50 number one hits for hours today while I made these cards with my ear turned up to the loudest volume it takes and the speakers on the laptop as loud as they would go... dogs are up here with me now so may do it again tomorrow while they are pheasant hunting. yay i was starting to think i would not be listening to music (for pleasure not frustration for a long time to come)

Gosh. Another incredible set of cards. I LOVE the birches one. The Asian themed ones are so serene. And the cardinal gives me some inspiration as I just receive this in Wish Rak today.

WOW! What a FABULOUS set of cards Stacy! I LOVE the trees; the spotlight technique is al;l-the-more impressive, given that you've used two different stamps. WELL DONE!!
